Ordered a MSI graphics card on 24/03/2025 & it still till today has not been delivered. The refund I requested has also never happened. A case with SAPS has been opened & my bank's ***** department is investigating & hopefully sorting this out. I also opened a case with the Consumer Goods & Services Ombudsman. AVOID at all costs!!!
The Samsung Odessey Neo G9 57" monitor which I bought on 23/11/2023, stopped working. It switches on & off continuously without showing a picture. Even the built-in menu will not display. I connected my old monitor up to the exact HDMI cable & graphics card to rule out issue with these components & it works perfectly. This seems to be a common occurrence with this monitor as there are numerous people worldwide with the exact same issue. It absolutely crazy that a R60000 monitor only last for a month! Samsungs Support response was that I must take this behemoth of a monitor to an authorised service centre when the Warranty Information clearly states: "In-Home repair or on site repair can only be performed on Monitor products which are larger than 42 inch. All other products are subject to a Carry In/In-store service." Uh hello, mine is 57 inches & it's only a month old!
I sent my Technics SL-1200 MK2 turntable to Red Revenge Studios in Cape Town for refurbishment, re spray and new cartridge on 21 November 2017. This was received by them 3 days later. To date it has been constant lies by the owner Johan that it was sent but the courier company kept it and promises that a replacement would be sent. Now 3 months later I am still without my turntable. Please be warned against using this company as there were loads of bad reviews on their Facebook page before they took it down.
Thanks for awesome service & blazingly fast delivery! I ordered my GeForce GTX 970 card yesterday and at 11H15 it was delivered and I'm in an outlying area in the sticks!
