I recently had the pleasure of working with Rebel Tech to build a custom PC, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the entire experience. From start to finish, Ruan went above and beyond to ensure that everything was perfect. Not only did Ruan take the time to understand my needs and preferences, but he was also incredibly attentive throughout the process. His communication was clear, timely, and thorough, which made the whole experience stress-free and enjoyable. He patiently answered all of my questions and provided great advice on the best components to fit my requirements. The end result was a high-performance PC that I'm absolutely thrilled with. But even after the build was completed, Ruan's commitment to customer satisfaction didn’t stop there. The after-sales support has been outstanding—Ruan was available to help with any follow-up questions or minor adjustments. If you're looking for a company that delivers exceptional products and customer service, I highly recommend Rebel Tech, and specifically, Ruan. Truly a top-notch experience!

So with these main points I can only give a 3.5 but not a 4th star!!! Sorry for insulting but like I said its me who hasn't slept properly for a couple of months not you. 0) they have good prices, package well, nice selection, fairly easy to talk to the people 1) there is confusion about the main point of writing this review. The initial statement given by the technician was "the supplier will swap the board even if there are minor problems" it was something i took to heart. the next few rma queries this rule did not apply and the possiblity of warranty failure became more and more relevant in the future messages. for example it went from the supplier "WILL" to "i cannot guarantee it" or "lets take a look" even when the bios disappeared. 2)the previous business history transaction with you guys consists of things that did not reach average lifespan. (again one person with more then 5 cases still tried you guys once more.) 3) in that previous transaction the RMA of a motherboard however the entire pc was sent in. firstly it was a forced replacement I was not given any options. (at that time everyone knows asrock is not a treasure its a stone) anyway it was received in a thermal paste mess (board and case). the way it was handled was too bad for my taste, there was no " i will talk with the suppliers technicians for them to improve" or "how can we make this up to you". so yeah I didn't take it too hard and dropped it, i was not that upset. 4) the current case there were lies told, it could be you guys speak better in Afrikaans or wrong words were chosen etc. however as a Authorised retailer you have to take responsibility. (even if its a miscommunication its really fishy if its a woman trying to persuade you) phonecall stated the board was checked, then another lie the supplier who said they didn't touch the memory(got a tomato sauce, oily fingerprint, impact mark) while the board had (too many things to mention that a manufacturer would have stopped looking after a few). 5) there was a statement of "we know it was the supplier(not we guess)" no apologies (except from giagbyte taiwan hq), no action taken immediately???. Sure I don't know the details of your contract with them but the local agent said they only deal with you and not end users . in any case you did not reveal the supplier so, the only one I can complain to is you. 6) before reiceving the board (and during) we had a rma discussion and these statements came out "this has not happened before" "we have a low rma history" 7) yes there were helpful discussions with the rebeltech rma tecnician. So yeah I was angry so I was rude to him however to me a 5 star technician is someone that settles things without you having to run to INTEL, GIGABYTE etc 8) the current board rma progress is taking too long, 2 months and barely any progress has happened, you say its midway or near the end but still no one has apologized. 9) so literally you guys said "we know its the supplier" but what else is there left to do? but for some reason you or the supplier want to contact gigabyte who all 3 of you know (or should know if you actually deal with anyone) that "induced damage = warranty void". so it is usually the authorized retailer who buys from the authorized supplier who gets its stock from the local Agent of the manufacturer. 10) you or the supplier (who ever suggested that)cannot offer PERSONAL FAVOUR WARRANTIES. (especially if you will evade the whole reason why electronics among other things are coated, which is to stop shorts and fires and rust) so you can understand why i am even more angry.

1. Every order I had made in the past 10+ or so years had atleast 1 defect mixed in, ranging from boards (ports) to GPUs (fans failing) to peripherals (hdd mood swings data *******s and revives by itself,Yes my matrix and China city hdd is still working 😂 ) some of which happen like a week to a month after 1 year period. Coincidentally matrix warehouse stands at only 1 defect... 2. Their rma section are a hassle to deal with, rather ask another company for info (then you can confidently just ask for RMA) because if you ask them yourselves you will hear alot of hypothetical words like "try" "look" "attempt" (even when my board half died) don't get fooled into things like wait for the next bios or driver update unless it's well known issue. They welcome and encourage bandaid fixes. Probably would say the same think if you say your GPU caught fire and still seems to work... 3. Rune might be nice and the team might keep saying pride and honour blah blah etc but just like most companies they do love to "not" honor warranties. Like really, a board was sent in and got replaced with in a void state. So they got a woman to phone me to insist that she checked it and it was fine??? Why lie I'm looking at it right now, after all they could produce 0 board checklist or statement of even an attempted quality check. 4. Most if not all of their Flowery words in terms and conditions are just meant to lure you in, however unless you go face to face with them and point out this or that, then none of it applies to you as you know what you don't know can't benefit you. 5.they don't follow laws or obligations so I have no idea how they are classified as an authorized retailer for some manufacturers!!! 6. if you rma something that they don't stock anymore they make a statement for you take this instead. Everywhere else will ask "can we give this instead? " 7.if you ever send anything in to them for example "my system doesn't work properly help me" expect to receive something like a newbie level tech service, thermal paste mistakes here and there. I got memory back with oil and probably tomato sauce (white sticker had a little red). .Just so you know don't bother complaining about it, you will get lured into a "😮 it must have been the courier " then a "I ended the conversation, so now you" and yes not a single sorry was involved. The Accuracy of this is atleast 90% I didn't bother to re-read the tech support messages. Congrats The good things are they don't do is strip *****s, they process it fast once you pay up. the courier guy has yet to make a mistake or cause damage.

I purchased 2 fans from them on the 13th December. The very same day I received it I noticed it was not compatible for my setup so I emailed them for a collection. It was collected and delivered back to them 2 days later. Several emails to them asking about my refund, and they have not responded. Mind you my emails were all sent before the holiday season. They are ****mers!

I was looking to upgrade my current PC and searched everywhere for not only the best prices but for guidance and people who would do the install for me as well. I was fortunate enough to have my request answered by Ruan. I received phenomenal, friendly, dedicated and patient assistance from the first mail to the last. Not only was the service fantastic but part for part Rebel's prices were the best or close to the best I could find, installation costs were more than reasonable (I actually asked if I could pay them more) and were extremely professionally done (the wiring and general look would impress even the strictest Youtube critic). Unbelievably impressed and grateful for the service received. Rebel has a new customer for life.
