After receiving call after call to give me a quote, I finally gave in and allowed a quote to be given for vehicle insurance. My vehicle is insured with Discovery. Only to then be informed, to my shock and horror, that my insurance profile has been red flagged due to "non-payment". After explaining my situation that it related to policy under my name but for moveable asset in my late fathers name who was ******ed last year February and that the non-payment was due to the fact that his bank account was closed by the executors of his estate. Steps were taken in February to cancel all policies that I knew about that were being debited from my late father's bank account and I assumed that the policy in question was cancelled as well. As one could imagine an unexpected violent death does cloud your senses unfortunately. Outsurance's attitude was that it is the policy holders responsibility to inform them of any changes. Fair enough, I assumed that all policies that were being debited from his account were cancelled. Outsurance were apparently trying to debit a premium from a bank account in APRIL that was clearly closed and flagged as a deceased bank account. NOT ONCE did I receive a simple telephone call or a SMS to mention that a policy was still active and in my name. Just emails that my email application automatically marks as spam, no doubt due to Outsurance's relentless marketing emails that consumers experience. Had I received that sort of communication I would have immediately taken steps to inform them of the situation. At no stage was there a willful disregard of any of my obligations vis-a-vis the policy. In fact, I have never missed a premium payment in respect of policies going off on my bank account in my entire life. Outsurance's attitude is that they are unwilling, at any level, to remove the flag from my insurance profile despite it being quite obvious why the premiums were not being recovered. I will stay with Discovery who has to date given be professional services, have some level of empathy. I would never recommend Outsurance to anybody that I know and Outsurance can be rest assured that you will NEVER have me as a client.
Was sold fragrance that didn't last, nothing like the originals and its definitely not factory rejects. In fact my fragrance was basically water. They deleted my comments from FB when I called them out. On my first order I was told I would get a refund from "James". Courier company collected the fragrance and I've since heard nothing. My second order was placed soon after my first order, I cancelled my second order as soon as the fragrance arrived from my first order and I figured out it was fake. They have my money inspire of me canceling the second order. This is my third review on hellopeter, the company keeps removing my review for "bad language" in hopes that nobody sees the truth. Guys no not buy from these guys its a scam.
Beware. Fake fragrances not reject at all. They running a scam guys. If you complain on Facebook they delete your review, they actually just deleted their Facebook page completely. Do not buy from these guys they fraudsters.
Fake perfumes that they market as "factory rejects". The perfumes are virtually water and smell nothing like the original. Avoid at all costs these guys are nothing more than a scam.
Kia Edenvale is the absolute worst service center I've ever been to. Service adviser "Faith" is rude and unprofessional. I had an issue with an incorrectly captured service plan and she was all too wiling to do everything in her power to NOT assist me and insist on payment despite my policy clearly saying otherwise. She was all too happy to announce that it expired She had the audacity to push me to pay before 5 o'clock so she could go home (my policy has since been resolved) after I escalated it. If "Faith" bothered to return my calls during the day this issue would have been resolved before I collected my car. The cherry on top was worse my car actually came out damaged, huge crack on the windscreen. "Faith" again doing everything in her power to escape accountable and go home at 5 tried to insinuate that the crack was already there. I'll see you at the Ombudsman. As for faith, she should be fired.
FNB CRS is an absolute nightmare. Its been months and they still haven't lifted my hold. They never answer the phone and when they actually do, you are greeted with the rudest and laziest staff. Dealing with this department was enough to make me close my account. God Speed.
