I did business with their other store for at least 20 years, and this time tried the Benoni branch. Same experience.....best price, quick delivery, wonderful staff !
<p>I have been a loyal Woolworths customer for 7 years. Due to unfortunate circumstances I needed to close my account. That all went fine, heck I even paid an outstanding amount that I hadn't known existed. But what they didn't tell me, was that my Woolworths card was still active, and that it had to be cancelled separately from the account cancellation. So, there I was, three years later, just carrying on my life, and whoops, I get rejected for an application for a new data contract. Because a credit vet found I had a mysterious blacklisting. Shocked, I resolved to try fix the issue like the lawful citizen I am. Problem was, it was all over a R182 amount that I owed to Woolworths, that, yes, you guessed it! was linked to the card that I was unaware needed to be cancelled on its own. Now, finding this out, I was ****ed. Rightfully so, because I had been handed over to debt collectors for an amount I had no idea about, nor was my right to be informed and notified of the payment, before being handed over, upheld. SERIOUSLY WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO MY RIGHTS TO BE NOTIFIED BEFOREHAND AND GIVEN A CHANCE TO SETTLE THE MATTER LAWFULLY BY PAYING WOOLWORTHS?! Even worse, was that the debt collecting firm I was handed over to, is a notoriously bad-tempered organisation that has a slew of bad reviews and a penchant for making you pay one heck of a lot more money because they "hold" the debt and let it collect interest (Yes, I am looking at you, scummy MBD Accounting). The R182 became R364 as MBD charges you 100% of your debt, PLUS interest every day that you don't pay! What a problem it is to deal with now! </p> <p>Its a ****** disgrace, and an absolute sham that this is how Woolworths treats its customers, or ex-customer you could say. I never want to step foot into another Woolworths again. Cross my heart and hope to die. Go stick it, Woolworths.</p>
<p>I live in a pretty small area, and a big concern was if my parcel would even reach me. But an Outer Area Agent from Fedex, much to my delight, delivered my orders in the shortest shipping time possible (One day, even when I opted for Economy Ship, which can take up to three days), finding my home, and with my orders in perfect condition. I would recommend them, even though many of their reviews are negative. It probably depends on the courier most of the time. So, I take my hat off to you, Fedex Outer Area Agent of the Vaal! Here's hoping you get the pay raise you deserve for your dedication and friendly service.</p>

After that you are notified about the dispatch of your order, and the two orders I made were both shipped via Fedex, and they arrived the very next day, even when I used to the Economy Ship option!
