My beloved Dachshund, my heart dog Finnley, was recently admitted for emergency treatment for a very serious necrotic wound, possibly caused by an insect bite. Thanks to Oneplan, he is receiving the best possible care and should make a full recovery! High five and huge back pats to Claims Consultant Kim Street, who has been with me every step of the way. She held my hand throughout this traumatic time, has been a real source of comfort and care, and managed the claim process flawlessly. When Finnley had to be readmitted for intensive wound management, Kim was on it right away! Thank you, Kim and Oneplan! The service I have received from Telkom recently has been absolutely shocking! I have been challenged with serious problems with both my Telkom ADSL and landline service from the beginning of February 2021, which greatly affected my ability to work from home and put my work and ability to earn an income in serious jeopardy. Altogether I put through more than seven calls from my mobile phone to the Telkom helpline (10210), responded to all the SMSs informing me that the fault had been resolved, indicating that it had not been resolved, and, in desperation, I even visited the Telkom office in Somerset Mall, Somerset West. Technicians visited my premises on two occasions and reported that the problem had been resolved, which was certainly not the case! They never bothered to follow up, which they had promised to do. Despite emphasising that before visiting my premises, the technicians needed to call to let me know they were on their way so that I could open the locked gate, allowing them access, they did not do so. They then left without contacting me, without gaining access to my premises and reported the fault resolved. Fortunately, Lombicor and, specifically, Charles King came to my rescue. Only Charles King called to tell me he was on his way to me and took the time and trouble to explore all solutions, found and fixed three faults and successfully restored my services. I cannot thank and praise Charles King highly enough. He acted with absolute courtesy and professionalism, showing great empathy for my challenges and frustrations. Above all, he resolved my problems, for which I am so very grateful. Telkom, you need to up your game! I was on the verge of cancelling all my Telkom services, but Charles King saved the day for you!
<p>In contrast to the poor, couldn’t-care-less attitude from the originally approved company assigned to repair my vehicle following an accident during the Christmas holiday period, Leon's Panelbeaters in the Strand was willing to assist me immediately and go the extra mile. Leon’s got down to work right away and arranged for me to check my vehicle in for repairs within 24 hours of being approved as the new service provider by Discovery Insure. The service was highly efficient, friendly and professional. I received regular feedback about every aspect of the repair process. Leon’s did an excellent job and my vehicle looks like new. <p>Hats off to Discovery Insure for coming to my rescue when I had a vehicle accident early evening end December and was travelling on my own. The accident was tracked and the tracking company stayed in touch with me on a constant basis to see to any medical needs and my safety, ensuring that I was able to reach my home. The claim was logged automatically and a Discovery Insure representative called the very day to finalise the claim, which was a highly efficient and speedy process. Discovery's services and support were excellent. The company also arranged for a rental and assisted me in finding an alternative panel beater when the company that was initially approved was not able to take on the repairs to my vehicle in a reasonable time. This has undoubtedly been the best experience I have ever had with an insurance company! Thank you Discovery Insure!</p>
