This branch had a Defy washing machine advertised at R2499 for more than a week. I showed my interest and even tried to pay for it while it was waiting it's 7 day cooling off period before being released. Today I went to pay and collect. The seven days were up today. And suddenly the salesperson takes me to a manager that tells me the price they had advertised it for was wrong. It's now a thousand rand more expensive at R3499! It had been advertised for 7 days as R2499!!!!! I spent a week waiting for the dam thing. No one let me know it was wrong, they knew i was coming to pay and collect today. I have taken mornings off work twice, and now get told i need to p-ay a thousand rand more?!?!?!!? I think not. Weak show, Weak performance all round, the the staff to the manager.
I've taken multiple cats and kittens to this Vet. Always have had perfect service. And for the record, they are extremely well priced. They charged me about 10% more than the SPCA to spay my cats. Professional and friendly. Never had a problem. My mom and a god friend of mine have also taken dogs and cats there over the years, and not a single bad experience was had.
Edgars added an Airtime Subscription to my monthly bill without asking. From the forums so far I can deduce that they have done this to thousands of clients without their permission. And to add to their spurious airtime deduction theft racket, they make it impossible to cancel this service. The normal edgars customer's accouter call center are incapable of canceling it, and are also incapable of transferring your call. The numbers that they do give you to cancel it through both don't responds at all, just a busy signal. When eventually I got a reference number (by phoning the customer service number and alternating between shouting and pleading till Salomone could agree to help me), I was told it would be canceled and I would be called back. To my utter lack of surprise this did not happen. Edgards, you KNOW this is a blatant illegal money making racket. Please cease this immoral activity and cancel ALL the Airtime Deductions you have unlawfully added to accounts, and REFUND us our money. My Ref # ********** 245056

I immediately emailed them to please refund me half of my purchase as I had ordedred double. </p> <p> </p> <p>The automated reply told me they were very busy responding to emails so would take a few hours longer than usual to reply get back to me. </p> <p> </p> <p>I sent then increasinly angry emails for 3 days beofre fianlly getting a reply. </p> <p> </p> <p>However, as has been my experience in the past, once they reply, they always put a smile on my face. Not only where they very gracious and apologetic, they sorted my problem instanly and gave me a very handsome and generous bonus on my purchase. </p> <p> </p> <p>This is the second time that I have had a mistake turn into a generous terun aroudn from OneDayOnly. And it has only been the second time there has been any mistakes in my orders after buying from them for many years. The mistake was mine, but they fixed it with aplomb. </p> <p> </p> <p>Thanks One Day Only</p>
