I have almost every Discovery product under the sun. I am probably one of their most healthy clients today, then when I request life cover, they decline me. As a person in recovery, I was willing to submit to any and every test, I am now being looked after by Old Mutual. So this post is a thanks to Old Mutual, Discovery treat their loyal clients like dirt once they have them.
I built my home with Absa, kept my bond nice and low, then decide to leverage some equity on MY home to build my business... Absa have stifled this process, cost me hundreds of thousands of Rands by way of their delays, taking zero accountability, and offering poor communication for me to make business decisions. All their actions are counter to helping someone grow their business, this after I saved Absa millions of USD by whistle blowing on a *****ulent transaction back in 2010. They just don't care, and are not interested in helping the SMA.
I have a ******** charge laid against Driaan van Tonder. He has run off with my money. Be careful folks. Maybe he'll one day choose to right this wrong, who knows.
I have been trying to withdraw funds from my trust since 11 Oct. Momentum drop the ball, you have to chase them up, and they continually promise 7 working day max turnarounds but can't even deliver on this.
I have closed a company and am trying to withdraw funds associated with that company. I have proven beneficial ownership. Since 31 January [now 23 Feb '23], Satrix have been repeat requesting documents, and constantly changing the required documents to be submitted. The support team doesn't communicate with one another, they just mail document requirement lists with no acknowledgement of documents submitted. There is no end in site, after four hours of time trying to meet there requirements, it is becoming more feasible to leave the money and let Satrix effectively steal it by force of wearing me down and not trying to help. The document requirements to open this account were lower than those required to close it.
FOUR strikes! Avoid disappointment. I usually give companies benefit of the doubt, I sadly wasted my time and money with Execupark at King Shaka, I STRONGLY urge you to pay the little extra and leave your car at the airport, or wait until a better service provider emerges. Strike 1: Asked the guys to clean polish off my car from my poor polishing job, and paid for the valet service… Polish remained (white marks on black plastic) when the vehicle was returned. (I paid another car wash to help me) Strike 2: Had a dirty vehicle returned to me, no attention to detail or effort put into the car clean. I thought this was maybe bad luck. Strike 3: Damaged sustained to my vehicle, although Execupark deny, and I have no ability to 100% confirm, it took me several attempts over three weeks to get a firm denial, which I don’t believe, given the lacking systems the company has in place. Strike 4: Was promised a polish after the bad communication from my damage accusation, the car was again returned FILTHY, with no polish done (not that I even expected it). If you care for your car or money, think twice before allowing this company to drive your vehicle, clean your vehicle and “care” for it. It is worth noting I have been offered free services to remedy my above complaints, not a risk I am willing to take, I would prefer knowing my car is safe, and that I do not know with Execupark.
I paid R12,000.00 twice for their "premium" service. The first year Shannon and her team did a decent job, I was also not in a good space at that time. Year two, I met two woman. You judge if that is worth R12,000.00, I have asked for partial refund, was then manipulated out of it. I don't believe this service is as good as it claims, be careful before parting with your money and being subject to the charms of this organisation, at minimum I should be refunded 50%, because the service I received was average at best.
