I requested a trip for R60, and uber ends up charging me for R67 and that doesn't work when you only have said amount of money in your bank. I've experienced this problem with Uber before, my price was always adjusted with helpful agents. I came across a very unhelpful agent though, and I was refused to have my price adjusted to what I requested. My score on uber is quite high and I have a Uber one subscription, but this is how uber deals with their premium and long standing clients. It happens often to many people that I know, and uber as a company had the nerve to change their rules so that they protected from having to adjust their price even if they are robbing you. I don't take kindly to being cheated and I don't think anyone does.
I've had the same experience over and over again with Maitland McDonalds, every single time we purchase online through Uber eats, Mr D delivery or Scoot, we never receive the Happy meal. The Happy meal is the only reason why we get McDonalds, because our daughter loves the toys that come with it. There has been times that we weren't refunded for the missing item too, and to leave my child broken hearted like that each time we order, it's just not right. We even started avoiding ordering from that specific McDonalds, but once again Scoot brought our order from them, because the app doesn't allow you to choose which branch your order comes from. I'm extremely disappointed in their service and it seems like there's a lot more to it than meets the eye when it comes to Maitland McDonalds

So Iinet...The company that has received an award for being the second best in its field in Australia, is a call centre that is based in Salt river, Cape Town. Surely being the second best means a lot right? Surely they should have plenty of money to go around right? Well, in the case of the majority of call centre agents at Iinet, pay queries is a regular thing. On a monthly basis, agents often get a portion of their salaries only, some agents get it as bad as not getting a salary at all....Can one not have responsibilities at Iinet? Seems to me like they seek only employees, whom have nothing to do with their salaries. ..When working for a company, consistency is needed, but the only thing Iinet is consistent in is pay queries. Agents are forced to wait until mid-month to get their salaries and with other cases, the payroll department has the audacity to ask agents to wait until the next month end. When agents raise their concerns, the payroll staff find it amusing and even comment "if you're not happy, you can leave". They even wait for pay queries to stack, so that it can be sent in a batch lol...You know you're bad, when you wait for pay queries to happen. Lets ask the question, what is Iinet's HR payroll department doing? If you happen to work there on the day shift, or maybe you're going to the building for whatsoever reason, you'll find the HR departments staff twiddling their thumbs or painting their nails. ..I guess paying people properly is not on top of the agenda for Iinet. Rather, they work you like a dog, and throw you a meatless bone. I mean, why not conclude the pay query chapter and start a new chapter where staff can go home happy?
