I purchased a pair of shoes on the 12 August 2024. I was informed that the shoes will arrive in 20 working days which makes it 6 September. After that date i send an email enquiring about my order #DCT1732. Mr Jim Amara who is Head of Customer care , email - info@dappercapetown.com answered me back and apologised for the delay stating that they have distribution issues , and that he will expedite my order. After this 1st email i have send another 3 or 4 and everytime Mr Amara promise me that he is looking into it. The last email was that the shoes will arrive by Friday 18 October. On Monday 21 st i send an email as i see that they are advertising all over the media again. Up to now i have not received a reply from Jim Amara or any one from Dapper Capetown or my shoes. I do not know what else to do , but to warn the public NOT to buy from them .
On the 24 November 2022 we purchased 2 x Morowa 2 Division Whiskey couches from Clearance Warehouse Boksburg . On the Invoice it states that delivery will be 4 weeks . Understanding that it was December and the Manufacturers / Suppliers would be closed we were told that delivery will be done end January 2023 . February 2023 i was told that the manufacturing was not completed and that we can expect delivery 28 March 2023 . March came and went and we had difficulty to reach the Sales Consultant and Manager . We visited the store again (3rd time) . Again they called 'headoffice' we were again promised that somebody will call us . Then during April 2023 we managed to get hold of somebody who informed me that Clearance Warehouse was under "Debt Review" and that we will get our couches . Another month went by and then this person Renice tel. 076 332 8028 says that while we are waiting for the couches to be sorted they will send us 2 other on "lend' . as soon as the ones we purchased are ready they will do the swop . After numerous calls and promised Renice asked me on the 6th of November 2023 if we will be willing to keep the "loan couches " and the company will give us a discount refund of R7 000 . this amount will be paid to us at end of November if we agree . We agreed and end of November came and the discount was not paid in . after numerous enquiries i was told by Renice that she will find out from 'Finance dept" and let me know . I received no feedback . Now it is the 28 December and still no payment or explanation .
Fast response , very informative regarding how long delivery will be . Competitive prices. Overall very good service
On previous occasion when collecting food at the drive through at Kfc Meyersdal they did not supply our soft drinks in the bag . Discovered only when got home. Today 21/12 we ordered and paid for 2 plain gravy with our meal. Got home. Only 1 was in the take away bag.
On Monday 3 January 2022 Fibrestream informed us that our WiFi Supply has been interrupted due to the tower that is unservicable. They informed us that they will send a technician to move out antennae to another tower. On Tuesday after an email we were told that the technician will contact us 'if' he is in the area. On Wednesday 5 January we send another few emails and got the same response. The technician will contact us if he is in the area. On Thursday we spoke to Christian at support and he said that a technician will be in contact. It started to rain , so we thought that was the reason for non contact. On Friday i called and spoke to a support person who said that he is waiting for a report from the technical department. I told him not to wait but to follow up as we have been waiting since Monday. He said he would follow up and let me know. I informed him verbally and by e mail that if they do not fix the problem by end of today , they can come and fetch there equipment and i will cancel the payment and contract. It is now 16h12 on Friday 7 Jan. Nobody came to repair or had tge decency to call as i was promised.
After 4 attempts of getting Internet Banking on my new phone , l decided to visit FNB Primrose to try again. While waiting for a Consultant the manager Robert asked me what i am there for. I explained and he took me and personally helped me to fix all the problems . He really exeeded all my expectations after the bad service and lack of help i got from FNB Bedford Centre. Robert took me through the whole process , even helping to activated the card at the Atm. Really GREAT service. Then is was intriduced to Consultant Samu to do the phone number swop. What a great experience to deal with her. Keep it up FNB Primrose
During June 2020 i requested a quotation for the manufacturing of a crate . Then on 18 August i contacted the sales person for the quote . I was tokd that the quote is with another person and that they will send the quote the same day . No quote was received. On Monday 24 August it was the same run around. As it was now a urgent enquiry i visited the offices of York Timbers and was told that (Vishnu) has the quote and will bring it to me. After waiting 20 minutes he did not appear or attempt to contact the Sales office where i was waiting. I left and tried to contact the Sales Manager which i was told is based in Pretoria. I called there but he was not available . I left my contact details and asked for him to call me . Up to date he or the sales person failed to contact me or send the promised quote. I reached out to another comppany and was attended to the same day with a quotation. Now i can supply my customer with the costs of a crate.
After having a horrid experience with another Timber Company i contacted S A Pallet and dealt with Theo. I requested a quotation and was promptly assisted . The staff including Romano was very helpful.
<p>I visited PG Glass Vereeniging to repair a chip on my windscreen . The price i was quoted was R150.00 . They asked me return after 1 o clock as they were very busy . I stay in Johannesburg and decided to repair the chip at PG Glass Alberton. The gentleman there asked me if it will be claimed from my Insurance . I told him that i will be paying for the repair. </p> <p>He said that i can pay after the repair was done . The work was done very professionally and to my surprise i got an invoice for R275.00 . I enquired why it is not R150.00 as i was quoted and later confirmed by Natasha from PG Vereeniging . I was told that the 2nd chip is R150. . I was very disgusted at the attitude of this gentleman at PG Alberton . </p>
