The worst imaginable customer care. This tops mtn south africa. Ordered a freezer hinge I needed ASAP, I placed the order on the 23rd of March. Within a day or 2 I realized that (paid) delivery will only take place on the 10th of April. So I contacted takealot, I've written several emails. It's now 8 days later, I cannot cancel and get a refund because they are busy picking and packing my order. All items in stock so we are not waiting on suppliers. And only once that process has started can they issue a cancelation. Never in my life have I heard of nonsense like this. And I have all the proof on mail. I should have received the exact same hinge from temu at a fraction of the price in 2 weeks from China. And this is exactly why the Chinese companies are squashing people, because they deliver. They don't rip you off. I will never order anything from takealot in my life again. And I wish you will reap the benifits of how you treat your clients

Time is money and buffalo loves to waste mine... Stop sending me updates that is parcel is out for delivery, no one can afford to wait days on end for a parcel. Show some respect to your clients and stop wasting our time and money!

Cannot get hold of anyone, only bots that answer. Waited from 8 till 5pm for package and a no show. I'm trying to get get hold of you as I cannot wait another day for a paid service to deliver and need a estimated time of delivery. Who has time to wait around all day. Terrible service, no make that no service. Very disappointed.

How do I get in touch with my travel consultant if she doesn't answer me via email? When I phoned the table bay mall branch I was informed she has moved to kloof street branch, when I phone kloof nobody picks up the phone. I would like to know what the update is on my refund for the tickets I bought for Bali. I find it extremely unfair that I have to explain why I want a refund and to top it all that I had to prove my husband had a pay cut to help things along, this after I was initially told that we will only be getting a credit note. I later learned on social media that this is illegal, and that a lot of people have been refunded.. Including friends of mine that also planned a holiday. My question is, who is receiving the interest on our money and why if I have paid for it months ago do I have to fight or explain why I want it back. I'm taking this further to the small claims court. The travel Industry is NOT the only people affected by this, please pay back my money I have been without a proper explanation for long enough.. Not to mention that I work for myself so zero income for the past couple of months too.
Please don't waste my time and petrol again on collecting items only to find out there is 2 out of 5,and one item not in stock. I didn't want a credit, I wanted what I ordered and paid for. I would not have ordered the crystal kits if I knew only one was available. Why let me pay for something if you don't have stock. I drove very far today after receiving a collection email from you yesterday, for all 5 items. Then got a email late this morning to notify me that one has been credited, and the other 2 will be available after Saturday. I was already in Montague Gardens, and would not have come all that way for 2 parcels. Pull up your socks, your products aren't exactly cheap for the cheap service you dish out. Don't think I'll shop with you again.

Thank you Pick n Pay Atlantis for a fast, friendly and helpful shopping experience. I got everything I needed. A very helpful floor manager at the butchery gave me a fresh cut of meat exactly to my specifications and a really good price too. It was superb! Will be back soon.
