We bought a "new" 3 tun Truck from Fanie at FAW Trucks Isando. After a waiting period of 3 months, we had an oil leak with our first trip. Nothing seems to be urgent for them.... On further investigation we discovered a rust mark on the cab, and it actually seems that it might be a second hand truck which was sprayed. After 10 days we are still waiting for the oil leak to be repaired.
Today is the 28th of February 2023, the last day of the financial year and also the last day for the TAX FREE savings option of R36 000 per year. I tried to do a transfer via my FNB app to my Tax Free Savings account, but got an error message that no payments can be done to that account before the 1st of March 2023 I spend 30 minutes on the phone to FNB to try and get an explanation and to try and get this done. This was the worst ever experience as I was put through from department to department, the phone got put down in my ear by the investments department.
<p>I had a very bad experience with Hyundai Service Department. Took my I10 for a service in November 2016 to Hyundai Stijdompark. Beginning of 2017 I noticed a bad oil leak. I took my car back to Hyundai Strijdompark on 28th of Feb 2017. They had to keep the car for 2 full days. I collected the car from them on 1st of March 2017 - the oil leak was still there. I phoned them and they advised me that I could take the car to the closest Hyundai dealer (I started a new job on 1st of March in Kew). I booked the car in at Hyundai Woodmead on 9 March 2017. On my arrival to check the car in, the person doing the admin requested my phone number (but she entered it incorrectly onto their system). I requested to speak to fhe Service Manager (Warren) and informed him about the fact that the car went in to Stijdompark on 28th of Feb. He assured me that they would check as the car is still under warranty and that he would phone me. At 13h30 I phoned their service department as I did not hear from him at that stage. They lady at service told me that my car was "ready"and that I can fetch it. When I got to Woodmead I found out that in fact they only topped the oil and washed my car. I was furious and asked why they did not phone me. Warren blamed Strijdompark for doing a bad job - and informed me that Woodmead could not repair my car.<br /><br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> </p> <p>Type a message...</p> <p> </p>
