I had the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE at MIDAS ONTDEKKERS today. So I went to Midas to buy a globe for my car. When I got to the shop I requested the salesman to come see my car so he can give me the correct globe. As he came out he then requested a guy that looks like a car guard who seems to also be a mechanic to take out the light so he can get the sample. The car guard that looks like a mechanic went inside Midas and got his toolbox. He then removed the bolts or the nuts that were holding the light and as he was doing that he unbolted the coolant bottle to gain access to the globe and that’s when he broke one of the cables or tubes that connect the coolant to the engine or wherever it’s supposed to go and coolant started leaking out of the car uncontrollably. This mechanic then said he’ll call the manager so he can show him this mess. In panic I also went inside the shop to get the guy that told this guy to remove the light to come see what he has done and the guy told me that he’s busy I should wait. I rushed back outside because I left my car open And didn’t want anyone *****ing my battery only to find out the manager is now outside, I approached the manager whose picture I have attached below and I told him or rather I tried to tell him what happened but he immediately dismissed me and told me that this guy does not work for him and that he will not get involved. I tried to explain to him that this guy was requested to remove the globe by his salesman that works in Midas and he told me up straight that this has nothing to do with him he’s not getting involved and he left me there. I called my husband (who had an emergency to attend to, hence I went by myself at Midas)because now I’m stuck at Midas and there’s absolutely nothing I can do and they just not even looking at me or even entertaining what I’m saying and he quickly rushed to Midas. When my husband got there that’s when the salesman left his counter to come see what his mechanic who’s a car guard has done. And also the manager (who told me it’s not his problem) came out and approached my husband and the first thing that he said before he was even asked anything was that he was never rude to me before I could even say anything. He tried to explain himself and still did not make sense and when I was firm in saying what he had said to me and how he treated me he then apologised to which I found his apology to not be a genuine one. Luckily for them, a known mechanic by the name of Neil was going to get something and the Salesman asked him to attend to this issue and this gentleman was kind enough to do a temporal fix on the car. MIDAS ONTDEKKERS MANAGER TREATED ME LIKE TRASH AND IF MY HUSBAND WAS OUT OF THE COUNTRY OR TOO FAR AWAY I WOULDN’T HAVE GOTTEN ASSISTANCE😡😡😡. Not sure why he felt the need to be so rude with me cause it was definitely not my fault that his Salesman asked someone who is not an employee of MIDAS to take out the globe in the first place.
I got to La Senza Gateway yesterday and there was no customer service whatsoever. The ladies were business talking about their personal thing and they were very loud. I wanted to ask if they had a certain lingerie but cause they were so loud I couldn't really ask anything. I ended up leaving the shop.
