So I sent a claim to Medshield that indicates that I am an expecting mom. I then called them to verify if my maternity benefits were authorized and they said no, I need to resubmit a claim and all thay drama. Then my Dr sent a claim again using maternity codes, but now I am still waiting for this authorization. Mind you its a week now and I need my prenatal vitamins as I suffer from low iron, the thing is my iron is so low I might need IV infusion but no Medshield medical aid is taking their sweet time in getting this approved. If anything happens to me or my baby I will sue this medical aid because I did exactly what I needed to do, but no response. My gynae claims are still pending due to thos nonsense, and my condition is PMB related especially whole suffering from low iron.
I am really overcome with so much emotions, that of anger. This morning I received a statement from Rachel Barends who handles the rentals for Lake Luso. They have brought forth charges FROM July and August which seems like a double charge. In July they send an invoice and I paid what was due now this morning I have a statement including both months. I mean I have tenants first of all renting my apartment, how do you explain that they owe so much money. My previous tenants left due to such circumstances where they overbill or give you bills where you don't know came from where. I am not going to pay for such incompetence and they will have to write off the July charge because I had already paid for what was due. Rachel is very *********** last time I had a similar problem Marietjie assisted me, then Rachel said sorry they were charging me for an incorrect unit number 8 and mine is number 5. So what I seem to find about this rental is that they owe a water bill going over R70 000, so they over charging owners to cover this. I am always on time with my bills and nothing is outstanding, they are ****** really and now we keep losing tenants because of their incompetence. They suck.
This College is a joke, I mean how do they explain the logic behind having students who missed out on WIL to do it for 3 years. Now if I missed WIL shouldn't I chose when to do it as this is something that I should have controlled to begin with. If you miss out on this stupid WIL they will make sure you live to regret it, where more years are added in order to complete this but through added years. It f3like now one is studying towards a PhD. No one can answer and the contact details for the board is a mystery, which makes you wonder if this school is even recognized.
I have joined this ****ty nonsense of a funeral cover, where I received nothing but stress from them. So what happened is that one of the people I had added on my policy was my uncle who is late. I called and explained that he had passed son, while on a waiting period. So I wished to cancel him without getting any ref9for the contributions made for him they pride themselves by saying all calls are recorded which is not the case. So while trying to remove my late uncle, I made calls to Avbob to state that I need him removed without stress the agent said I must write a letter and sign it to state that I need to remove him without getting his death certificate and ID certified. Then I went ahead and wrote a letter indicating that he is now late and wish for him to be removed and they do not need to refund me any outstanding contributions. Wow did I not go from pillar to post, where everyone was giving me different stories. Their team leaders and managers find it too important to speak to their client, even when I feel aggrieved. So I'd you take up this nonsense of a policy beware they will chow your money even when a person is no more. I find it unnecessary to go certify a person's documents if they won't cover them and as the policy holder I should dictate whether I want that person still active or not. They are not even ashamed in debiting a deceased person.. N a ****** fools
I was given an overbill for a November statement and paid it, after paying this I was told that there an error with the water charge. I have been requesting for my refund and it's almost the same month with which I need to make a payment. I have been dealing with Rachel who is only assisting me with endless excuses. When it's time to pay I always do so without further delays on time in fact. So this company should never be considered they are a *****. All I want is my refund and for my complex to get rid of this *****.
I don't even know where to begin. So I have been battling with this medical aid for a hospital account at Wilgeheuwel. So I had an emergency that required me to be admitted in the hospital for proper care. I was so much in pain that I couldn't walk without balancing myself with something. This was regarded as PMB too. Now in this time I received nothing to no support from this so called medical aid. Instead while I was healing or suppose to heal, I was busy contacting them for my claims to be paid. I called them to ask why the hospital account was not fully paid and no one could respond and all that was said was, we have no idea why this was not paid. Claims were then sent for reprocessing and came back to say length of stay exceeded and they had a wrong discharge date. They simply told me in email about this. I had to contact the hospital and the case manager told me that they did send an update about the length of stay and the medical aids case manager was just sitting with this information without having to update it. Now I called the medical aid and the hospital claim went for reprocessing again, imagine so many times. Now the excuse was Monofer was not authorized hence not paid. My word and after so many phone calls only this surfaced. So my question is this medical aid does not give you peace of mind and why can't they contact the hospital to get clinical information for Monofer. Does medical aid know that we don't choose to go to hospital willingly. I ha e been with Medshield for 5 years as a principal member and now as a dependent but subsequently terminated my membership end of the year because of this. I mean I also did a laproscopy and had a copayment which the case manager refused to write off even after it was declared PMB. I am also taking this complaint to the Ombudsman because this is nonsense, been so long with this medical aid without being admitted in hospital and the one and only time I was admitted I have to suffer this way. Medshield please pay my Wilgeheuwel hospital claim in full for the admission of the 10th October 2022 Practice number: 5808839 (Wilgeheuwel Hospital) Treatment date: 10/10/2022 to 15/10/2022 Claim amount: R40,580.83 Amount paid: R32,614.80 + R3,534.22 = R36,149.02 Short fall: R4,431.81 is due to the medication (Monofer 1000mg/10ml injection) that is not approved in the authorisation resulting in the rejection.
This shirt medical aid has done it again by short paying my PMB emergency claim not even half of the amount asked by Dr. So on the 10gh of October I was hospitalized due to emergency and had a procedure done while in hospital, the medical aid short paid my anesthetic claim not even by half of what the Dr asked for. The claim was R6422. 50 and amount outstanding is R3873. 02, so how do you explain this as this was PMB and needs to be paid in full. I was a principal member with this medical aid for 5 years and never misused benefits and now I am a dependent on my husbands medical aid and this is how they treat me. Now they coming up with stories that the ICD 10 code used is incorrect and not related to the actual treatment like really. All I want is for this claim to be paid. Also Medshield seems to have a problem with paying Anaesthetist, they did the exact same thing when I was giving birth and had to go up and down with a claim while caring for my newborn baby. Medshield is a scam of a medical aid and if you know what's good for you stay away from them. Hi I would like to express my gratitude towards a Leadhome agent called Donald McLachlan. We bought property sold by him and he expressed professionalism and integrity the whole time. We were constantly updated about the process of the house, he was just good to us in every way possible. I have never worked with an agent who is so passionate about assisting people get their dream home like he did. He is just a breath of fresh air and very friendly and determined to make everyone happy. Leadhome itself comes highly recommended as you do things quite differently from other agents. The way you have your we side designed to suit a buyer and sellers interest. I give Leadhome a thumbs up as they have all their ducks in one row. I was very disappointed with the service I was supposed to receive from Medshield this morning. So I started calling from 09:30 am on date 22/11/2021, I spoke to two incompetent agents who took me from Pillar to post. I wanted to get a GP authorization and Themba told me that I can't get it directly from them since I am a member and only my GP can give the Auth. I then told him that I was given an Auth by previous agents on different occasions and why am now given the run around. I mean how stupid is a process where the Dr need to get an Auth for me, whereas I can get it myself. So are you saying the Dr must encure extra costs by calling for an Auth which I can also get myself? Now this Themba simply transferred me to the queue again can you believe it, instead of assisting me he just thought nah this lady is mad, and then I got through to Ashley another incompetent soldier, who decided to keep me on hold then cut the call. Now I called again and got through to Themba yet again who saw fit to transfer me again for the 2nd time. So I am frustrated and sick and needed assistance but never got any, and I tell you I ended up crying because I felt powerless and that not only upset me but it left me with no confidence for this medical aid at all. Themba is the worst agent with his broken English and he must just be fired from this position as he has no customer centricity and the lazy Ashley as well as they just sang in the same choir instead of assisting me.
<p>This company is currently making fraudlent debit orders on my bank account, they use my ID number as refrence for the debit orders.</p> <p>3 debit orders went off my bank account with three diffrent amounts,. I HAVE TRIED TO ASK STANDARD BANK TO STOP THE DEBIT ORDERS. according to standard bank they are unable to stop the transactions</p> <p>i have never recieved a call or made any agreements with SHANGENI adverstising. yet the have the nerve to take my money..</p> <p>the company regestration number is SHANGENI MARKETING . this company does not have a website.</p> <p>i need help please, the worst part this company is based in durban but they use a merchant company in pretoria to run debit orders for them.</p>
