3 WEEKS! NO SOLUTION! NO SUPPORT! I have been a loyal customer to FNB for about 10 years now. Most of my credit facilities are with them and I basically use them for everything! I was pre-approved on the app for a revolving facility (ON 14 FEBRUARY 2024) and the application went through immediately. The account showed a few seconds later but ZERO FUNDS were available to use. I then gave it about 2 days processing time but then started following up on this matter. These results in it's entirety was complex: 1. 1st follow up - Please wait 48 hours for funds to show. 2. 2nd follow up - The request for the funds wasn't submitted. I will submit now. Please wait 48 hours. 3. 3rd follow up - I will send a request to the revolving department. 4. 4th follow up - I will send a request to the revolving department. 5. 5th follow up - There is a technical issue with debi-check mandate - the technical team is working on it. 6. The rest of the follow up which I have lost count of has been the same re. the technical issue and that they are "working on it" 7. My most favorite response was the last one whereby I demanded a resolution time: "Our production team is working on it. PLEASE ACCEPT DELAY." WOW! FNB I have never been so disappointed in my life! This has been pending for 3 WEEKS TODAY!! And the best response I can get is that I have to accept the delay. Coming from a background in IT - I simply cannot understand how a production team can take 3 weeks to sort out a critical issue. It is simply beyond me. Strongly considering moving all my accounts over to another bank.
I was a member at Undisputed Fitness Gym last year, when I joined I did not receive nor sign any contract. I never attended classes in December and January due to personal reasons and then cancelled my membership in January. I told Byron I would like to re-join when I am back on my feet. He the proposed to feeze membership with effective dates. I then told him I cannot give exact dates and DID NOT AGREE to anything. Byron sent me several emails afterwards and whatsapps assuming I had agreed to these terms. I never responded to any of his contact attempts as he was being pushy and did not understand that I cannot give dates I would like to re-join. Because of his continual harassment I then blocked him on whatsapp. I then received a text from him where he claimed my payment was overdue as my membership had continued - which was extremely incorrect as I never agreed to anything and did my bit in January notifying him of the cancellation! In this message he claimed there is a legally binding contract in place which there was not and got arrogant towards the end saying that blocking him won't make this go away. I responded on his text explaining that there was no agreement in place. We then went back and forth on text were he said stuff like '' adults come to the table to discuss these matters and that we must meet up to discuss''. He tried calling me, I declined as I knew he would be rude and then I said ''there is nothing to discuss, membership is cancelled, he must respond with facts and this SO CALLED CONTRACT and we will take it from there''. He then texted and said I wont take his calls or meet up cause I can say what I want and run away. I then I decided to return his call to explain to him that nothing can done unless he respond with facts and documents to support his argument. He then started calling me a coward!!!! My boyfriend grabbed the phone and told him it is not necessary to call me a coward. He then said the following ''Listen my brother, listen, before this gets funny and I don't want it to get funny. You don't know me and I sure as hell will get to know you. Rather come and meet me and we sit down.'' With this phrase he started with threats and then wanted to act civilized. On the call he refused to send this so called contract and kept pushing that we had to meet to discuss. After the call I then explained to him in an email THAT I HAD NEVER RECEIVED NOR SIGNED A CONTRACT and never agreed to anything and that I will ignore all communication attempts with an emotional attack but will HOWEVER respond promptly should he respond with facts and documents to support his argument. His threats and ways of speaking to me has frightened me and the fact that he wanted to keep pushing to meet up with me scared me even more. If he spoke this way on the phone I really wasn't sure what he would do in person. He is soooo aggressive. :( Byron is a very verbally abusive individual. He makes everything personal and does not know how to deal with things in a professional manner. Regarding his facilities and business: It is not kept up to scratch and he runs his social media ruled by ''being fit and pretty'' and not being a professional fighter which should be the main rule. Byron knows nothing about the sports he teaches and if he has a hand in the class he makes it seem like cross-fit and not fighting. As per a previous review, this gym is only about making money and not building client relationships or increasing s****s. I really am appalled that he is a owner of business and have never dealt with anyone so unprofessional in my life.
<p>RANT!! We were very excited to try out Skippers Bedfordview yesterday after seeing their menu at Mochachos Bedfordview just to be disappointed by the terrifying service levels we received. On the screens in their shop they have a combo that reads: Hake Fillet, Prawns and Calamari Tubes. We wanted to add this to our order but were quickly informed that the combo only comes with rings and not tubes. We insisted that they need to give this to us as advertised. If it were just that the picture contained tubes, surely we would have understood as they do have a disclaimer that states that VISUALS are for advertising purposes only. But it was not only the image that contained calamari tubes but the DESCRIPTION of the combo that clearly stated the combo included calamari tubes. We then asked to speak to the manager. We waited for about 5 - 10 minutes for the manager to finally assist us. Obviously expecting her to solve the problem professionally?? But no, she came storming to the front, pointing to the disclaimer and kept saying if you read here below it says that Visuals are for advertising purposes only and meals may vary. We then tried explaining to her that it is not the VISUALS that we are referring but the product DESCRIPTION clearly states that the combo has calamari tubes and that she is obligated to give it to us as advertised. She just kept pointing to the disclaimer and then got on the phone. We didn't hear much but heard this 'you need to change it, I'm sick of fighting with customers.' After she got off the phone we explained to her as an example that if you go to PnP and the coffee is marked at R 70 and you go to the till and it's loaded as R 90 - they are obligated to give it to you at he advertising price. 'Well, here is head office's number, take it up with them!!' Because of her disgusting attitude, we then decided to turn around and walk out of shop. If she had simply apologised and handled it in a professional manner they would have received our order of approximately R 500 and our business in future! I am appalled that this lady is a manager! She had a Mochachos badge on her shirt, so I'm presuming these stores are linked and she is manager at both? Needles to say, if she works there as well, Mochachos won't be receiving my business or referrals again either! At least we went to ocean basket thereafter and satisfied our cravings there ;)</p>
