Discovery has turned into a very predatory company. They have dedicated people stationed at hospitals now that tell you what they won't pay for! When you compare products the first thing it says is, and I quote, "Unlimited cover in any private hospital" This is in fact a lie. When you read the small print on the very last page of the PDF file you will see that they will refuse to admit you to hospital for any back or neck related ailments unless you pay R4800 up front. The person at the hospital will also then tell you they will cover a maximum of 6 days in hospital. This information is not available in PDF "Plan guide" but it seems Discovery does whatever they want. Over the last few years Discovery has devolved into a company that would harass you non-stop with phone calls and whatsapp messages if you have the audacity to browse products while logged in. However they will go even further out of their way to not pay for your treatment as far as possible. I would probably try someone else.
Went in to the randridge mall store on Thursday 30 March. Was promised delivery would be Friday or Saturday afternoon at the latest. I was then told that I would only be able to get it delivered "between the 3rd and the 11th". Today is the 11th, I was initially told that it will definitely be delivered tomorrow. Just for the warehouse to call me and say best they can do is Thursday. I contacted the store again to which they rep**** that I they were using another contractor and it will definitely be tomorrow. Just for the warehouse to call me back and say best they can do is Thursday. Then I get another email back from the store to say the warehouse told them they verbally agreed to Thursday with me and I "was completely fine with it". Hopefully it actually gets delivered on Thursday. Honestly, buy a bed from someone else, Dial-a-bed is extremely disorganized.
Managing agents at my complex. Almost everyone is up in arms with Venkam at the moment. Personally, I have sent them documentation to sign that my bank requires for my solar loan. I have sent the document a month an a half ago and have been following up almost weekly. They simply ignore me. If they can't even sign a document in a month and a half how can they manage a complex?
Cool ideas are terrible, please avoid at all costs. Cool ideas will sell you a service that they are unable to provide. I have been charged for a 500mbs line for months now but I have consistently only getting 100mbs. I have had countless tickets logged with them but they keep giving me the same nonsense and keep telling to do things that I have done a hundred times. I finally gave up and told cool ideas to just reduce my package, since it's not fair that I am paying for 500mbs but they can only provide 100mbs. Here's the best part: they now want to charge me a once off fee to reduce my package after ripping me off for months. Want to cancel? Sorry for you, you need to wait 2 months. Stay far away from this scammy company
They used to be good but they are absolutely terrible now. Please do yourself a favour and avoid these guys at all costs. I placed order over 3 weeks ago, I just moved house to a location that has an installation. I told cool ideas its essential that my internet is on by Monday 22 August at the latest. They assured me that it will be. It is now Wednesday and I still don't have internet. Yesterday I got an email from someone else to come do the installation that I already have. So it's clear they have no idea what they're doing. I have asked now on MULTIPLE occasions for a manager's contact details. I have asked on MULTIPLE occasions that somebody pick up the phone and call but I keep getting fed the same excuse of "We're waiting for feedback from Vumatel". To reiterate, avoid cool ideas if you don't want constant frustration.
They were excellent, managed to sort out all of my licensing issues over Whatsapp and my disc was delivered to my door. Would use their services again
This company is amazingly useless. I have been trying for the better part of this year to get a clearance certificate out of these clowns after settling all my accounts. They are fantastically incompetent at comprehension and customer feedback. Only sign up with this company if you enjoy getting stuck in endless feedback loops. I write my review today not share the news that I have finally received my certificate and been cleared after literal years of frustration (see my review history) but to to let you know after all of this they have finally contacted me but they are asking for payslips and lease agreements for my "annual review" which they probably want to charge for. This company is exploiting people in vulnerable positions and is run by people who are either incredibly clever that have designed the ultimate trolling solution or completely incompetent confused vagrants. There is no reasonable explanation for anything in between. Stay away if you value your own sanity because when you deal with these guys you will question it.

It has now been more than 6 months after I have settled all of my accounts with all of my creditors but it's impossible to get my clearance certificate out of debt rescue. They just completely ignore emails and send you from pillar to post when calling. I urge everyone to stay as far as possible away from this absolute joke of a company.

As many others on here have stated, order placed months ago, unable to get hold of anyone. Have sent multiple emails and have received no response. There are no numbers on the website.
