I ordered online via Facebook a BMW key cover from Exclusive Keys. It was R399 so not cheap. If have had no info re my order as to delivery etc. I have sent 3 messages to them and nothing so far. I think this is maybe a ****. Just be careful.
My wife and I went to the Louis Vitton store at the Cape Town waterfront to look at a wallet for myself. When we arrived we were told to stand outside in a queue to wait outside to be served. We were at the Munich store in April this year and they invited us in to sit down and wait for a salesperson to assist us. I felt that was really pathetic. I enquired how long would it take and lightly touched the lady at the door to get her attention, she accused me of assaulting her in a very aggressive tone. My wife was shocked and asked her what her issue is, I hardly touched her. She totally over reacted. To top it all my wife is disabled and I asked if we could sit inside while we waited and she ignored us. My wife was so disgusting she said we must leave. I wanted to look at 2 wallets so we stayed. When I tried to speak to the woman inside who seemed to be the manager she was not interested in what I had to say. It was disgusting attitude by both woman. The gentleman who served me was brilliant, pity not all staff were like this. Our shopping experience in Munch was also very good. Sorry Louis Vuitton you get a one star from me.
I am disgusted with DHL International in Midrand. I have been trying now for almost 2 weeks to get a parcel to Namibia that I have paid almost R4000 to ship. When I sent my documentation I mentioned I have never sent a parcel outside of South Africa and needed assistance. They dont communicate properly with you. Every 2 to 3 days there is a new query and nothing gets resolved. I have been shunted from pillar to post and even escalated and get blocked to get to top management. I managed to get to supervisor level with no joy. My parcel was supppsed to be in Windhoek 5 days ago. They happy to take your money but not resolve any issues. I got another quote for the same shipment for R1100.00 and got brilliant service from this small courier. Why am I paying an additional R3000 for horrific service. My shipment is still in Johannesburg amlost 2 weeks later. I dont know what to do. Just a heads up for all people wanting to use DHL. Everyone is apologetic but dont resolve the issue.

My wife bought a demo BMW 220d Active Touring from Club Motors over a year ago. We wanted to tow a trailer for the first time two weeks ago and found out that the trailer and cars cable plug were not the same. My wife took it to SMG Tgervalley to ask what the issue is. They then informed us that the car was supposed to have an adapter for SA to use when plugging in the trailer lights. I was told to contact Club Motors which I did just before they closed down. Based on what happened no wonder they closed down. They basically said to me they are not interested in my story after I treid about 10 phone calls to get hold of management with left messages. Some lady eventually contacted me to say not interested in replacing the adapter as it was too long ago. I then went and bough for one for R670 at SMG Tygervalley as I needed the adapter to tow a trailer. I then contacted BMW SA re this and said I was unhappy as no one mentioned the trailer adapter and if they did we would have seen that there was not one in the car. BMW came back to me today to say they cannot help me as this is sales issue (lovely to pass the buck to someone who is no longer around) and they can now do nothing. If Club motors was still open and the sales lady that sold the carto us was still there, I am sure there would have been a different outcome. If there was one in the car why would I go and buy another one, this is crazy. They are basically saying that the adapter was in the car and we have lost it and that is it. This is not what I expect from BWM as I have owned many of thiers cars and motorbikes and still do. This is shocking customer service and be warned with cars that are build overseas that come standard with tow bars. There is no checklist for additional items like tow bar adapters that we are given to make sure that all is there that should be. If so I would not be writing re this terrible experience. I am just very disspointed as I always said how good BMW customer service was and now this is not the case. The car cost us R419 000.00 which is not cheap with a such a small issue over an adapter that was not in the car. Why should I pay for one if it comes with the car. I would be willing to go for a polygraph to prove that the adpater was not in the car just to prove my point. Crazy, crazy. Hope this helps other people about to buy cars build overseas.
