Bad business practice to call out an plumber who advertisrs NO CALL OUT FEE and then insists on one when we dont accept the quote. In addition to wanting to charge R850/hr or part thereof they wanted a further R1000 to supply and non return valve. Plumber did not use any tools not work on the job except to listen to an explanation and resolution to the problem. After contacting his office when we did not accept, I was threatened with a bill for R850 as well as ******** charges if I laid a hand on her plumber to physically remove him from my property. There sd be no need to ask about a call out fee when it is so printed in their Google advert along with a statement of being a family business with more than 20 years experience. If their circumstances have changed since placing that ad then it should be up to them to point it out before sending a plumber out.
After reading online review on their site that were quite negative, I was sceptical about purchasing anything, and, in fact, on two occasions, I cancelled my registration. However, as we are going to Mauritius in May I sought the online stores for Beach Shoes (the ones you wear with rubber soles that you don't slip) because I tried to buy them from a local store and they were prohibitively expensive for a once off use. The Temu store came up again, and so I browsed it again. To my surprise, I could purchase them for a quarter of the local price from a Sportsmans/Beach store in Johannesburg, and I took a chance and bought two pairs thinking if I was going to lose anything it would not be a train smash re the price. I paid online quite safely, as well as later paid the customs duty to bring the shoes in from China, which was also not expensive. The goods arrived intact, within two weeks, by Courier with perfect sizing. I was so happy. This has restored my faith in using the Temu store and should I need to look for anything again, I will certainly go to their site first.

I would like to write a review about Oneplan Insurance agent Sheldon Naidoo who patiently talked me through how to load my own claims and very kindly assisted me with current claims in a friendly and efficient manner.
Ordered 2 x CCTV cameras on 31st July, although ad states TMEZON 4 pack. 1 month later delivered incorrect product not only lower pixels but containing only 1 x cctv camera. Unable to contact them via phone I wrote several emails demanding a refund. Dealt mainly with Primrose who first said she would re-order but wud take another 2 x weeks. Last spoke she promised a refund - now November still.waiting. This is a scam operation of note, especially when I read a the other reviews on HelloPeter. If I had been more careful and checked them out on HelloPeter first, I would NEVER have bought from them. Have had to write off my R570.
My studen t guest took a laptop in for a quote for possible repairs. The technician opened it up and scanned across announcing the cost of repair would be from R800. She did not accept it, but was sold a keyboard bec she was told her keyboard was faulty. She subsequently took her computer to Multi-junction who told her she possibly needed to update her drivers, which ultimately was all it needed, and cost was R500. When we tried to return a R179 keyboard for a refund, the owner's wife refused to refund stating that the box was broken, which is not true. It had been opened at one end only, and all it needed was perhaps a spot of glue or invisible tape. Whoever would buybit is going to throw the box away in any case. What matters is that the keyboard was intact and working. This explains why after my personal experience with the same outlet more than 8 years ago, I do not like to deal with them. Its just a pity my guest did not know that before going there. We also subsequently discovered that the technician who had opened up the laptop had not clised it properly and caused the keyboard to stick.

Needed to upgrade a small 10" netbook and ITBru were the only people willing to take on the daunting task to remove Windows XP and upgrade. They found a way, and at no enormous cost, got me up and running to be able to use Win 10. The service was amazing and the two guys that helped I cannot thank enough - just forgot your names, but you know who you are. :-)
