Good service, car was ready, the return was also very simple. It was inspected immediately and feedback was given in no time.
It was a pleasant experience, they gave me a good car, the process was easy and all the costs were provided upfront. Staff was friendly and helpful.
I purchased a vehicle financed by Marquis. They then registered it incorrectly to another person. I had to go get a roadworthy to help them deregister and re-register the car. I did so and sent it. A month (Nov 2022) went by and they had still not corrected it until I phoned and put pressure on them. Now they have registered an incorrect car under my name instead of the car I financed with them. The customer support person is now on leave it appears. I am looking to sell the car but can't due to their incompetence.
Before I write the review, I will say, my naivety played a part, just writing to warn others. Early this year (2022) I bought a car from Ford Nelspruit, a low mileage 2020 Toyota corolla XS sedan. It had some issues that would be undetected by a normal person. It was spray painted (the whole thing), it was panel-beated, missing curtain airbags, steering wheel airbag was loose and comes off mid drive, the panel beater stole the Toyota sim-card (I can see it's location), and none of this was openly disclosed, and the car was sold at market value. I thought maybe a big dealership would not need such scrutiny... I was wrong, it needs to be treated like a Joburg CBD second hand car dealership. Be careful guys, get a dekra report/expert to inspect any car you buy from any dealership.
Buying a Balwin Property at this Estate has probably been the worst financial decision of my life. It is sold as an Eco Estate which is probably code for 'cheap material' used. I own a 3 bedroom apartment on the 1st floor. First and biggest issue, the ceiling on this unit is so thin you can hear your upstairs neighbor drop a pin, now imagine hearing them walking, moving furniture and even flushing their toilet. Imagine not being able to sleep because your neigbor is walking around his/her own unit, absolute trash, and my unit is on the floor one of 4, so they can't do anything now, just trash build quality. 2nd issue, cracks, cracks and more cracks. These units were built super quickly and I think the foundation was not allowed to settle so at it does, cracks appear all over. You can even log them, they will come and plaster over them but 2-3 months later they all re-appear.g 3rd issue, in my specific unit, there is a balcony above my main bedroom and as it rains water seeps through into my apartment. I've logged it 5+ times and they have not been able to fix it permanently, after one or 2 heavy rains, whatever measure they put in place fails and it leaks again. It gets tiring to be having such issues and constantly logging them, especially given how these units are described as 'luxury' and sold at such high prices. I'm gonna have to sell for my own peace of mind and may lose money because who would knowingly pay 1.4M for such? Never again will I buy from these clowns. Do yourself a favor and don't too!
