MTN South Africa is the absolute WORST. I recently took a data deal from them and I have had to pay "prorata" amounts every month and these amounts ALWAYS pop up right after I have made payment. I then spoke to the one lady at the call center Anele who said that the reason my sim is not active is because of a R11.50 that has accumulated for bank charges due to a failed debit order however the FULL payment was made in store. I then called again where a very condescending call center agent said the R11.50 was due for a prorata payment. When I asked her if I could speak to her manager she said she needed to find out who her manager was. How shocking! To date the service with MTN has been the worst.
I have had the most unpleasant experience with Uber. I was in an Uber on Friday morning. I left my phone (on charge,with drivers charger) as well as my jacket in his vehicle. We contacted numerous times then he said he was busy with trips, thereafter he said that my phone is not there and that he does have my jacket but won't drop it off as Uber does not refund the R90s for drop offs. I let the phone go because he said he doesn't have it but I want my jacket which he agreed to having. He has now stopped responding to messages and calls. I am highly frustrated as no assistance was given.
I ordered food from Wimpy through uber eats, I waited 2 hours for my meal and by the time it got here it was ICE cold. I am not impressed with the service received at all
