Great Service. Ordered this morning and was delivered by 2pm. Made my husbands birthday even more special.
Beira Alta is Outstanding. Special Mention to Naven (Manager) and Nqobile (Waitress) for making my birthday memorable. Service was excellent , food was absolutely delicious. Overall everything was beyond my expectations.
Good Day I would really like the owner of this establishment to contact me urgently regarding the terrible experience that I had today (Monday 27th December) at this restaurant. Firstly what was supposed to be a birthday celebration turned out to be an absolute disaster due to the pathetic service from your establishment. This is what my family and I were subjected to : I called on Sunday and made a reservation for Monday. I specifically mentioned to your manager that it was my birthday and I wanted a secluded or private table. When I get to the restaurant on Monday I was told that no reservations were recorded. The manager was the one who took my details and confirmed that I had made the reservation and it was an error between her and waiters . They then give us a table in the elevated area in the way to entrance ...nothing was private about this . The manager that had taken my booking the day before had said that she was going to be putting us in the long booth near the toilets however even though she was there when we got there someone else was already seated in what should have been our table. We then had to wait about 30 mins to get that place that was supposed to have been ours in the first place. There was only a couple and a child that had occupied that seat and the couple had finished eating and were actually just waiting for the child to finish playing in the kids zone. No attempt to actually get us the table sooner was made - we just had to sit and wait. Then while we are sitting another group comes in and goes to that table - we then have to get the manager to go explain to the new customers that the table is reserved. Does this store not even have reserved signs? After about 30 mins we are eventually given that new table and our drinks orders are taken. We order a ****tail (strawberry flavour) but that didn't taste anything like what we wanted so we enquired and was given attitude by the waitress. Your manager mentioned that the waitress had a death in the family and that was the reason for her attitude...I am a compassionate person but waiting stuff can't take their frustrations out on us. Your manager checked the ****tail we ordered and agreed that it didn't taste like what we had ordered and fixed it . At least that was resolved. After the attitude from the waitress she never came back to our table to get our starter or mains orders - we just sat there and was being ignored. We waited about 20 mins and no waiting staff came to us yet the waitress assigned to us was going to other tables. People who came after us were being served. We then spoke to the manager and she said that she will change the waiter. Another 20 mins goes by and still no waiter comes to us yet waiters are standing and talking to customers going to other tables but no one comes to us. We again go to the manager and ask her to bring us our bill for the drinks that we had gotten as we are going to leave cos service is pathethic and a special occasion has been spoilt and put all of us in a very lousy mood. We drove all the way from Durban only to be treated with such disrespect and what is worse is that your manager didnt help our situation in fact she couldnt even take responsibility for all the mishaps considering she is the front house manager. She blamed staff for being in a mood cos of personal things , waiters not being able to service tables cos they take on too much , reservations not being recorded because the waiters didnt write it down. Isnt this her responsibility given the fact that she is the front house manager. The manager did absolutely nothing to rectify our experience. As a person who strongly believes in democracy , I hate it that i am about to say this but when i looked around at the restaurant yesterday only Black and White Customers were being attended to , are the staff at Mikes Kitchen Salt Rock anti Indian , cos that would really explain why we were treated so badly yesterday. Which establishment in these times would really want to drive out 8 customers wanting to celebrate a special occasion. This was my birthday , a day for me to celebrate and it was spoilt by your restaurant as i was brought to tears , and it was unfortunately an absolute waste of my time, petrol and money coming to your establishment all the way from Durban
Hi I Recently lodged a claim and the manner in which it was handled was very professional and efficient. I had a personal consultant assigned to my claim and i was updated every step of the process.
We celebrated a 21st Birthday recently at the Gateway branch. The food , setup and the service was excellent. Management and Staff was very helpful and assisted us with even setting up. The food was on point and we received excellent service. We were even given a complimentary started which was substituted for something we didn't have in our selection. Our function was a huge success due to the professionalism and assistance from Management and Staff. We will definitely be using Jimmy's Gateway again.
<p>I purchased a ring from Sterns Phoenix in August 2016 however experienced a problem as the store staff advised me incorrectly that the ring could be resized to the size i needed.<br />After conversations with Gail Raubenheimer , i was advised that the ring in the size i wanted could be ordered from the Specials department. This was ordered around 29 August 2016 and i eventually received it on 28 October 2016.<br />Due to this delay i had to cancel my engagement as the ring was not gonna be with me in time for my function.<br />I have incurred costs to the value of R5000 that i am still not able to recover due to the bad service received from Sterns.<br />On the 28 October 2016 after picking up my ring , i was also offered the insurance product which i agreed to take.<br />I completed all the documents , submitted my banking details and the insurance was also processed on the system.<br />The first debit was supposed to be in November 2016.<br />To date , the monthly insurance premium was never debited from my account.<br />I have been constantly calling the store , customer service , head office , the area manager , even left a a message for the regional manager to contact me and to date this problem has not been resolved.<br />The store has been in touch with people at the insurance department to have this rectified and they were told it would be done but yet another month goes by and this is still outstanding.<br />I have lost my patience with Sterns and i want to be reimbursed for all my inconvenience as well as the money that i have lost as i still cannot have my function due to the ring still not being insured.<br />I m tired of being promised that this will be resolved but every week it is the same story.<br />I need urgent feedback as to how this will be resolved and how sterns intends to reimburse me for the money that i have lost due to their lack of service,</p>
