We are regular customers we live in the area, My husband and daughter went to lunch at Mikes yesterday and brought back a Malva pudding and a chocolate cake. Husband could smell the Malva pudding was off but I was not so lucky! I ate the chocolate cake noticing the texture and smell but went for it anyway thinking nothing of it because ive trusted this restaurant for years! I have been up since 3 am with vomiting a runny tummy, tummy pain and cramps throughout my body I am so disappointed this was a horrible experience which I am still actively experiencing right now along with a low grade fever!!

We are regular customers we live in the area, My husband and daughter went to lunch at Mikes yesterday and brought back a Malva pudding and a chocolate cake. Mikes Kitchen Pretoria North!!!!!! What a pleasant experience, the service was great the food was amazing, the environment!!!! Absolutely satisfied , what an amazing restaurant and they upheld the family friend marketing... It's a great space to be in , absolutely thrilled!!

Good day, I would like to raise a complaint regarding my recent experiences at your Marble Hall branch. During my visit last week, I understand that the store was busy; however, the level of cleanliness was unacceptable. There was food and bones left on tables and floors, and the overall environment was very dirty. The staff also appeared irritated and were not friendly, which made the experience quite unpleasant. I returned again at month-end around 13:00 and unfortunately found the same situation. The cleanliness and service had not improved. Additionally, I visited the branch again over the weekend, shortly after 09:00 in the morning. I wanted to order the munch mix, but the staff member assisting me was not helpful and the service was once again disappointing. This is very concerning, as it reflects poorly on your establishment. I believe customers should be able to expect a clean environment and friendly, professional service at all times. I trust that this matter will be addressed urgently. Kind regards, Richardo Roccon

Sorry this place won't see me again. Popped in with my wife for a quick breakfast on Saturday 28th Feb. Was told our order would be ready between 30/40min. So we said OK. Waited the whole 40min no feedback and ask another waiter told us another 20 min. Again no feedback and again asked the waiter was just told sorry they have a big table and can't say. So we left. At least they could have offered us something to drink etc. Probably because it was only two of us it was not worth to Mike's Kitchen to serve us compared to their big table customers.

Mikes Kitchen Klerksdorp. Julle bestuur is maar power. Ons het n voucher gehad van R300 weens slegte kos ( wat toe uitgesort was) ons het toe as n familie verlede Sondag daar geëet. Kos was great en diens was Great en toe die rekening kom toe het elke gesin hulle gedeelte betaal, min besef ons dat die voucher reeds afgetrek is. Ons het die pryse per item uitgewerk, per gesin met normale prys. Ons het laat middag bestuur ge****ak en gesê dat ons nie die voucher gebruik het nie en dat daar 3 verskillende betalings gedoen is en dit is veeel meer as wat dit moes wees. Bestuurder Angelique het gesê sy sal dit uitsorteer, sy sien die fout. Sy het genoem dat sy Maandag af is en sal Dinsdag terug kom na ons toe. Dinsdag het gekom en gegaan en geen terugvoering was ontvang nie. Ons het toe Woensdag uitgereik en sy was toe eweskielik van niks bewus of kon nie die transaksie onthou het nie. Sy het gesê sy gaan met die ander bestuurder praat Jean-Michael of so iemand. Tot vandag toe niks gehoor nie (Saterdag - amper n week later). Die rekening is met n Tip op die normale rekening gegee plus ons R300 voucher is daarmee heen. Dankie Mikes hoop julle bly by julle beleid en dat julle na julle customer service beter sal hanteer en dat julle eerder by julle woord moet hou. Bad service and bad experience!! When we arrived with the family and kids, menues along with the special menus were provided to us with the daily specials. When we ordered the Saturday special shown on that spesific menu we were informed that the special was no longer available and the incorrect menus were given to us. So we ordered from the normal menus and waited over an hour for our food. Food were cold and the kids received chips instead of smilies. After this we did not see the waiter again, my husband went to ask for her and the manager had to bring us our drinks. The place feels like a hot box. There was a child hitting other children includding my child. The ladies appointed by Mike's Kitchen did not address the matter with the parents and so we told the child to stop hitting our child. The bully chils's parent caused a verbal altercation with us and said his child will not be told what to do. This father wanted to start a physical altercation with my husband and male famliy members. My husband told him to back off and walk away. The manager heard and saw this father causing a scene and a disturbance, however he did not intervene and did not request this father to leave the premises. This is suppose to be a family restaurant and yes parents remain responsible for their children. However we will not have children hitting our children and we will not have their parents causing a disturbance just because we requested their child not to hit ours. This is not a bar where parents can cause a physical altercation infront of children. This is unacceptable and the ladies watching over the children on the play area should address these matters with the parents of the children hitting other children and manager before hand in order to prevent a disturbance before our children and family members. This is traumatizing to the children. This is how Mike's Kitchen will loose clients. Bullies should be banned from family restaurants!!!

Terrible. Utmost worst experience. To blame incompetence on being busy is the worst excuse I’ve ever heard (and yes I know how the industry works). Service is absolute worst I’ve ever had at a restuarant. Honestly not visiting this or any other franchise again.
