I went for a Holiday in Durban and booked at The Coastland Hotel at Umhlanga.Checked in went well except that at the reception I wasn't told that you need to load credit on your account to pay for drinks while you stay in the hotel.Following day during breakfast,I odered a cappucino and the waiter told me I need to pay cash.I told him I don't have cash with me but he can load it under my room account and I will pay when I check out .I was told it can’t be done .I requested to speak to the supervisor,he couldn't assit.I then reuqested to speak to the manager. The superviosr tried contacting the manager by the name of James,(useless manager). The feedback I got from the supervisor is that James said “it’s company policy”. I then went to reception demanding to speak to James,a lady by the name of Rhiona (manager at the front counter),told me that James is in a meeting.I heard that bull**** story before trying to cover up for managers.I told her my story ,she also couldn't help.I insisted to speak to this so called useless James.Rhiona covered up for him saying he’s in a meeting.I left my details with Rhiona for James to call me back. It’s day 2 and James hasn't called me.As a manager James, let me give you a piece of advice,You listen to your customers and not hide in office claiming you have meetings.Secondly:you never bothered to call me.Thirdly, your DStv channels are of poor quality(picture and sound breakage).I will never set my ass in this hotel again nor refer someone to this hotel.I will make sure I send this to all media platforms so that the media knows about your stinking attitude towards your guest.Lastly, you don't pay the wages, you only handle the money,Customers pay the wages, remember that as you seem not ti be customer centric.
I bought a a brand new Kia Rio ,hardly in a month owning the car it had issues. Two major issues were lack of power on the 2nd gear and bracket intermittently failing to work. The was was taken to Kia Randburg and Fourways. The vehicle was there for a week in each to simulate the problem, unfortunately they could detect any fault.I still experience the same problems. From their report from KIA, I was told it is my driving style for the vehicle to lack power on the 2nd. A month after I got the car back from Kia, braking issue occurred again, when I reported this to Kia Customer Care, a guy by the name of Thinus was so corky and responded by saying .The car checked and nothing is wrong with the car, the query is closed. What an attitude! I copied the CEO (Gary Scott) on these emails so that he can intervene, not even a single email to respond instead some Thinus guy who knows nothing about customer service, responds like it's his fathers firm.My problem is still not resolved.I will not recommend any person to buy Kia.@Thinus,just pray I don't get in an accident, you will regret the day you wrote that email. This is just the beginning. Theres more for Kia that is coming your way.I will make sure we get to the bottom of this.
I bought a KIA Rio in September 2017.Hardly a week I bought the vehicle,I noticed a water leak through the driver's side as it was raining during that whole week.I realized that the rubber seal on the driver's door was not aligned properly.I took the vehicle back to KIA, I was told the rubber come loose from the factory it just needs to be aligned. That was a sign right there that I am going to have issues with the car.I also noticed the sluggishness on the second gear as you driving off and noisy sound at the engine(noisy tappet sound) January 2018,there was squicky sound on the brakes.I was kinda shocked as the car is still new .In April I took car to Kia,Stridjompark, Randburg and I mentioned all issues that I have on the car, which squicky breaks, noisy tappet sound from the engine and sluggishness on gear 2. I left the car for day to be checked and repaired.According to Kia Randburg, break pads were replaced under warranty and they skimmed the discs. Noisy engine when car idling,I was told it might be the timing chain, which they put lubricant and the sound is normal, which I disagree to that. With sluggishness, they couldn't tell me exactly why the car is behaving like that. The manager took the vehicle for a drive and upon his return, he confirmed the sluggishness on 2nd gear.He mentioned that it's built like that to accommodate the 6th gear, which I still don't buy it. I need KIA to come to the party and attend to my issues ,not only to attend to the issues but repair them and close the matter. I can't keep visiting KIA every week or month to have the vehicle inspected. It's taking too much of my time.I should be enjoying the ride not having misery and regrets of choosing to buy their product.

I went to buy prescription glasses at Melllins gateway Mall.I explained to the consultant what exactly I want.He said it is possible to get as long as Medical aid approves it.He called medical aid for approval and told me that it has been approved and that it will take 1 week for my glasses to be ready .The consultant (gentlemen )promised to call me but he never did. After noticing that I haven't received a call from him.I had to drive all the way to Mellins Gateway.Upon arrival, none of my request was done.Had to put pressure on the lady who was on duty assisting me.Seeing that I was irate with manner in which this was handled, she promised to keep me updated.Glasses arrived. She called me for pick up.Glasses were not tinted as per my request. Why the genlteman who assisted never pay attention to the customer's request? Why he never called me?Why telling me lies that medical aid approved the glasses as I was told three weeks later that medical aid only paid for lenses and tests.?If I knew from the start,I wouldn't taken the glasses.I had to pay a bill of R2800 from my pocket.Something that could have been avoided if your staff was clued up.Please remove my information from my data base and don't send me promos.Fourways Mellins has been the best for me.I was inconvenienced by your incompetent staff, time and money, wrong tinting.I paid you for doing wrong things
