My ABSA banking app has been working well for over 1 year. Last week, when I tried to transfer funds between accounts, I just get a big black X, and a notice like, " function not possible". I have been able to pay accounts, but not transfer funds. I deleted the app, restarted my phone, checked that plenty of memory was available, and reloaded the app. I see now it requires a face photo for additional security. This is very difficult to do. When it finally accepts the green circle around the photo, it just gives a big X and message " something went wrong. I went to ABSA Scottburgh today and a pleasant lady tried to help, but could not get it to work. Just sorry keep trying. Now I have no on line banking, and they are about to lose a customer who has been with them for 40+ years.
I bought a R229 Volkano wris****ch from Takealot about 7 months ago. It has a 12 month guarantee. I was taking the watch off, and the strap just snapped. Now I am an 81 year old retired engineer, and could clearly recognize this as a manufacturing fault. I returned it to Takealot and they simply said that i broke it, and the guarantee is thus void. I would like to know who at Takealot has the technical experience and knowledge to take this decision. I have spent thousands of Rand on Takealot over the years, and am shocked that they would treat a regular customer so badly, over a R229 watch.

I have tried to log into my Nedbank unit trust account many times recently, but all I get is a notice saying "there seems to be a problem on our side---try again later." I urgently need a tax certificate.
I e-mailed prescriptions to Medxpress on their website on 13 Feb 2024. I have not heard from them at all.
It is impossible to un-subscribe to Dis-Chem's never ending e-mailed advertisments. The un-subscribe links do not work. Is there some Statutory where we can lodge a complaint?
I have written e-mails twice in the past week, to ABSA client services, for tax certificates. Not only do they not acknowledge receipt of my mails, they have obviously not bothered to reply. Other financial institutions, send out tax statements early in July.
I was phoned and offered a new contract with more data. I accepted and thid was to start on 1st June 2023. Since 1st June, I have not been able to usa or access any data. My account says I have 20Gb available. It is absolutely impossible to speak to any human at Vodacom. They just say " high call volumes", and put you through to their stupid chatbot that is useless.
As a pensioner, I need to check my investments every month. I have most in Glacier. It is extremely annoying that Glacier cuts off my access to my portfolio, at the close of business on the last day of each month---18 hours for maintenance. ?? None of the other investment houses that I deal with, do this. Do your maintenance mid-month or late evenings, like the others, and stop annoying your customers.
