On Friday 30 July 2021 I booked an apartment in Menlyn on the app and paid for the reservation. Shortly after booking I was informed via email that the appartment is not available so I contacted the customer support line and was told they will get back to me within a hour they will find another place for us. They contacted me back and I had to phone them two times after two hours. They then send us an email with a place they found for us for less than the amount we made an reservation for originally and in Arcadia. Where is Arcadia and where is Menlyn? If I wanted to book in Arcadia I would have booked in Arcadia. Now I paid for a place that was listed available and must be happy with a place in Arcadia which I'm not comfortable with. This is really unacceptable service and unprofessional.
I have bank accounts with FNB, ABSA and NEDBANK and out of all of them for me the worst bank is NEDBANK because thier banking systems and processing are full of flaws. - In the last two weeks I lodge complaints three times because I deposit money in my account which is immediately available because the method is cash or direct credit transfer. I can transact and do payments but after 12 at night my account goes into a minus for the transaction amounts processed from the account when it was still in credit. This is a big frustration because when this happens I do not have access to the funds that was left in the account before 12 at night. - Payments made via EFT is always delayed for in and out transactions. - Online and on NEDBANK Money App there is no real time list of transactions and also not for recipients you made online payments to. This causes a problem when you want to confirm a transaction or if you want to resend a proof of payment done online. I lost all confidence in NEDBANK because now everytime I'm scarred when I use the account it will leave me stranded because the funds not available when I need it and I cant trust the systems for payments because its always delayed. I never before experienced so much problems with a bank untill I opened an account with NEDBANK. Other banks I use and used systems works in real time flawlessly and instantly. NEDBANK must review their systems and learn a thing or two from the other leading banks because surely I'm not the only disappointed and disatisfied customer.
On Monday 17 May 2021 I visited the store with my sister too buy sweets for her kids lunch boxes and to return expired sweets she bought the previously about 2 weeks back. With the till slip as proof. When we entered the we first spoke with the manager to explain and if we can return as it expired way back already and it made the kids sick. She agreed and said we can exchange it. We proceeded to get all the things she needs which in total was R1215. At the till point a manager was called to authorize the exchange of the expired items which totaled to R39. At the till point the manager then refused to do the exchange because we bought it at the Centurion branch but my sister did confirm prior if we need to return to Centurion or is it allowed at any branch and she was told no problem any branch. I told the manager take that sweets and throw them in the dustbin because if you want to cry about R39 I'm not going to cry about it because it is ridiculous. After all we're supporting his store buying other stuff we need of the value of R1215 but he wants to cry about R39. I think anybody will agree thats ridiculous. I will never support ABC sweets again and call on everybody to check the items expire dates when purchasing anything from them because you will end up with a doctor's bill and expired sweets making you and your kids sick.
<p>I was falsely accused of fraud at builders warehouse atteburry. Beginning of may Saturday I went to builders warehouse to buy a Afrox portapak kit. I went inside the store and went to the power tool department to get the portapak kit I wanted to purchase , I loaded it in my trolley and proceeded to the till points. At the till points the cashier scanned the item and swiped my bank card to pay for the item. I did not take note what price the item scanned but I knew the item costs R8000. At the till point I was paying at a security standed. The till slip printed and the security requested the slip from the cashier to check and mark of the items I purchased. While marking of my items in the trolley he reliesed the description of the portapak did not match the description on the slip and asked me to come with him I was the taken to a office and interegated for 3 hours because the item was labeled incorrectly on two different places on the box with two different afrox descriptions (1 correct and one not ). I never felt more uncomfortable . After a lot of arguments and after they reviewed cctv and found I did not tamper with the item I was asked to pay the correct amount and not even apologised after being accused of fraud. I paid the item and left the store. A week after the incedent I purchased a empty tool box from Builders warehouse but did not reliase the tool box won't work for what I want to use it for. I went back to builders warehouse atteburry to return the toolbox. At refunds a security guy came again and asked to come with him . At the security office a different loss control manager Andrew wanted to accuse me again of tampering with the barcode because the barcode on box was dirty but I had the proof of purchase and the items description matched and matched with the ones in they still in the store. Even after investegating and found nothing out of place , they still wanted to accuse me and speculate why the barcode is dirty on item. They phoned the police and the police came. The police also saw there is nothing wrong here and told them they had no case. The loss control manager Andrew then said I must go and my product and slip must 1st stay there so that he can investigate . He told me I must come back the next day to come fetch my product back after he investigated . I never went back to fetch my item because I was scared getting accused of something I did not do because my instinct told me he is going to try get a false statement from the loss control manager of the 1st incedent to have me arrested. I will never put my foot inside a Builders Warehouse again. And my advice to all people is to be careful when purchasing at builders warehouse because you may be victimised for their own employees errors. </p>
