While trying to upgrade the consultant hung up on me because I pointed out the manner which he was talking to me was very unprofessional and that you should never speak over your client. I've had continuing bad service for the last year from Telkom Mobile and it doesn't seem like service at Telkom will ever be getting better.
Went in to telkom Matlosana Mall with a problem that I'm having with a product that i bought from that store. The agent couldn't tell me what was worg and refused to help me.
Worst service can't be found anywhere else ! Take for every to repair problems. False product marketing. Incompetent staff. Errors made by staff are made as if it's the client's fault. You get charged for a service that your not making use of any more and you haven't been a client anymore for two months. Overpriced. You pay for quality service but only receive a fraction what you're paying for. Pay for 15 mbps bit you'll get 0.3mbps and if you're lucky 1.5mbps.
Telkom sells you a contract without informing you that if you live in a rural area half of the package your paying for won't work. Also if you call the call centre about your one simcard not working at all and you've experiencing no service for more than a week, they tell you that a month old simcard had broken inside your phone without removing it, and when you ask how its possible, the answer you'll get it "trust me its possible". Customer care agents should also be called case openers, because they can't help you with anything, and you tell you that they open a case for you. Then a few days later you can SMS from telkom it says your case has been resolved even if nothing has been resolved. Im paying for no service no network and night data that doesn't work if you don't live in one of the major cities of SA which they also don't inform me about when you purchase the contract they only tel you how big a benefit it is to make the sale.
Had a call with a Vodacom customer care agent. Hold the line for 18 minutes just to check my number. After she finally got my number and helped me she just told me the product if already purchased is no longer available so she can help me this is after the product was already sold to me with the benefits printed clearly on the front cover. Now sorry you bought it we won't give it to you. And the best after i told the agent that that's unacceptable she made as if she can't hear me and hung up the phone. Vodacom services at it's best
