I purchased a "Bread Bin" from them and when it arrived I discovered that it is too small to fit a standard loaf of bread in it. When I complained to them they told me the dimensions were listed on the website and that I should have checked first. The procedure now to return it to them is taking forever and I had to pay the courier fees.
I am still waiting for my order to be delivered after two weeks despite getting numerous updates. Have tried contacting them but they no longer respond to me. I suspect they are an online **** company and takes your money and never delivers.

I am trying to report a fraudulent transaction on my account and have been told by customer care to email an affidavit to mtnspfraud.za@mtn.com. When I email that address I receive an out-of-office reply telling me to email mtnspfraud.za@mtn.com which is exactly the same address. How am I supposed to report this because sure as hell MTN will deduct that fraudulent transaction from my bank account come to the month-end? I have also tried filling an online fraud report but after filling the form in it will not send.
My daughter received an electric razor for Xmas and when she opened it she found the unit was totally dead and not working. When she went onto the Takealot website they informed her that the item was non returnable. how does this company sell electrical items and not have any returns ? This has never worked so now what Takealot????
On Saturday night we went to Cresta to see the premiere of IT and could not watch the movie properly due to the either lights being left on in the cinema or the contrast not being set by the projectionist. This is a horror movie with a lot of the scenes being set in the dark and they where unwatchable - we could not see what was going on in the movie.
<p>in April i purchased a Samsung WA90H4200SW top loader washing machine. From the first time i used it i noticed that black clothes where full of fluff. I made sure the fluff filter was clean every time i used but this continued to happen. Two weeks plus ago i lodged a query with Samsung and was promised a technician would come out and investigate. After a week i had not heard from them so called again. This time was told thay had no knowledge of my previous call but once again promised a technician would come to me on Friday 7th July and was given a reference number. No one arrived on Friday or called to apologise and then on Mondat morning i received an sms to say the repair callout had been cancelled!!!! No reason or apology was given so i had to phone in to them once again. I was then informed that the fault was my detergent so i had to call a Unilever consultant. The detergent cannot create fluff all over the clothes. When i created about the fact that i was being passed off onto someone else the call was abrubtly cut off from there side. I called again and spoke to someone else who promised someone from customer care would call me. I then received an sms with a reference number but still no call from anyone. In terms of the Customer Protection Act i am ready to return this item and demand a full refund as i am being passed from one to the other and Samsung are unwilling to hear my problem or attempt to rectify it.</p>
