We have used for many years for all our short term insurance needs. They react quickly, fair and professionally, they never disappoint. Their premiums are competitive and we never would consider using any other company.

Ka Ma Caltex/Astron Motel, Richmond, Northern Cape, South Africa
Very convenient when travelling from Johannesburg to Cape Town with being right next to the N1, plus there is a restaurant on site which is open until 10am. The family rooms are not fancy but quite adequate for a stop-over, although their TV etc could do with a serious upgrade.!! We last stopped there on 4th Dec 3025 arriving around 8 pm whereupon we received great service from "Lintjie" (spelling ?) who was also there in the morning to see us our way. We've stopped over there for years and at R 875 or so it's not great value for money for two adult travellers, but worked really well in the past when we had children with us as there's one double and two single beds in the room.

Steibel Eltron Instant Water Heater
I'm really not impressed with the quality of the Steibel Eltron Instant Water heater. Three years (April 2017) ago my original Seimans Water Heater, which had lasted 14 yrs, was replaced by a similar Steibel Eltron unit as the Siemens one was no longer available in SA. After just three and a half years (October 2020) usage I've had to replace that Steibel Eltron unit with a new one at a cost of around R 9500 fitted !! To me this is totally unacceptable quality and reliability, but was told there are no alternative makes !!!

Unblock a Drain
After three days of back and forward advice between two plumbers (assigned by Outsurance) and two visits from the Jhb Municiplaity, each party saying that the other party must fix the problem, being a badly blocked main sewerage pipe at my house .....I contacted Unblock a Drain, they arrived within a few hours, carefully assessed the situation and proceeded to locate and unblock the problem area with no fuss or bother, but with plenty of smelly overflow which they then proceeded to hose down ! Very effective service at a fair price !!! This all happened in February 2019

Revamp of existing kitchen
It was a R 22 000 job involving the installation of new kitchen cupboards and replacing the old Formica work tops with granite.Great people to deal with. Completion and "fix ups" took forever, return of messages could take forever, although there were several periods when I was also away ! Quality of materials and finish a little flimsy and patchy. The overall finished effect is just ok, but if I were to do it again I would rather spend a little more and get a " better known" kitchen company to do the work quicker with better quality material !
