Today at 14:57 I started a chat to log that my internet is down. MWeb only allows one to communicate via their chat bott. It’s now an hour later and I’m still waiting! No agent to help me.
Prior to purchasing my bakkie, it was sent to Supa Quick Spartan to have the shocks replaced in October 2024. Great, until November when the front Monroe shocks came loose and had to be replaced. Perfect, until June 2025, when yet again the front Monroe shocks came loose and had to be replaced by Super Quick Spartan again. Then in August 2025, the front left Monroe shock totally pulled away. The bakkie went back to Supa Quick Spartan and over two months later is still there. Apparently, they cannot find the right Monroe shocks. 4 times the Monroe shocks have needed to be replaced in a year! This is pathetic!!

I went to collect my new ID from the Nedbank Sandown branch of Home Affairs. Emma, who served me, was friendly and super-efficient. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes - I didn't even have to pay for parking!!
On 30 October I purchased a data bundle via the Vodacom App. The following day, 31 October, I saw that my balance was zero. I can see the purchase notification in the Vodacom App, but when I phoned to ask what had happened to my data, the nice lady I spoke to could find no record on the system, and she tried hard. What happened to my data? Vodacom stole it from me.
I have a problem with no internet via MWeb, so I log into the website to log a query, only not I cannot log a query because MWeb has replaced the query option with a 'Chat' option. Only problem is that no one is monitoring the chat, so I've got no response. Really?? Pathetic!
I was looking to buy a GWM Steed 6 and saw one on Autotrader, so I sent a message enquiring about it. Leonard was quick to respond and as I am located in Randburg, I made a plan to come and see the vehicle in Boksburg on the following Saturday morning. I arrived and met Leonard, who was really pleasant. Unfortunately, the vehicle had been sent to have a small part fixed and I could not see it. Leonard, however, promised to make a plan during the next week to bring the vehicle to me for me to see it, Thank you Leonard.
A few weeks ago, I saw a GWM Steed 6 advertised on Autotrader at Haval Edenvale. I made plan to go and see the vehicle one Saturday morning and was shown it by Ben. Ben was pleasant and allowed me to sit in the vehicle and start the engine. I wasn't offered a test drive, but that was okay as the vehicle was right in the middle of the show room. I enquired about price and as the advertised price was R209,950, I was a bit taken back when Ben worked out the price to be over R237,500 with other costs???? That's +13% more than was advertised. Anyhow, I left my details with Ben and left. A day later, I sent in a message of interest via Autotrader and received an email from Tshepo. I responded and told him that I had met Ben and that I was interested. I've never heard back from Tshepo, ever. I then emailed Ben to let him know that I was interested in the Steed 6, and I've also never heard back from Ben, ever. So, beware that purchasing from Haval Edenvale there may be massive hidden costs and you may never hear from them again.
I have been trying to change my Vodacom contract since September. Each time I call I’m told my request is ‘with the back office’ and the consultant I’m speaking to cannot help me. The tell me they will phone back again tomorrow, but I never hear from them. So, all the time, I’m paying for a more expensive service that just keeps on going on. I’m pretty sure this is *****ulent!
I tried making a payment on a third-party website using Ozow as the payment method. Their T&Cs told me nothing about the costs that I would incur, so I started a WhatsApp Chat with them. What a waste of time. Their Bot got into a loop and wouldn't stop asking the same question. They wouldn't even let me chat with a real person. So, I paid directly through my banking app and didn't have to give my banking account username and password, which according to the T&Cs they store, along with details of my IP address and transactions and items that I purchase. Yes, I did read your T&Cs!
