I was contacted by Monique yesterday about a company that I had reviewed. Said company reported my review which is clearly what they are doing on all bad reviews and advised her they had no dealings with me. Even after extensive proof was provided to her of email threads, WhatsApps and an invoice that very clearly states my email Monique proceeded to tell me I am not the bona fide customer and this goes against HelloPeters standards. I must tell you I am really disappointed in the fact that I got questioned extensively about my authenticity as a customer, do the companies get questioned too as to why they are lying blatantly about dealings with a customer? I provided extensive proof and documentation to Monique about how this company trades under two names - their physical store and online store. Please don’t let your consultants throw around legal terms of a contracted/bone fide customer when they actually don’t know what they’re talking about. Money left my personal account into this companies account- and regardless of what the name displays on an invoice for delivery purposes as well as my email and personal contact information being blatantly displayed I definitely am considered the bone fide customer according to the Consumer Protection Act. To top it off Monique doesn’t even have the audacity to respond to my questions and proof. I have messaged on x, and the contact form on HelloPeter and have heard nothing. This makes one wonder what is actually happening on HelloPeters side and why you are siding with badly run companies.
April the “manager” had no care in the world that the receptionist Tavonga held the phone away from herself while I was trying to explain my problem with the faulty product received and put the phone down on me mid sentence, however it seems April does this to customers herself so what can one expect. Also rather go purchase machinery from one of the other many companies in Johannesburg as this companies after sales support is atrocious. Purchased a machine with a faulty part, and then got told to book it in. There’s no reason anyone should be booking anything in when you have supp**** a faulty product. It should be replaced immediately, no questions asked. Their products are also very poor quality when comparing to another well known company in Randburg.
What rude staff this company has. First and last time I will ever order from this company. Excuses after excuses with passive, sarcastic email responses. Actually shocked at the level of service received from this store.
This business has now debited me twice off of my old banking details and my new one. Judging by my previous complaint and experience with absolutely no feedback or support I am quite possibly never going to see my R159.02 that they conveniently took twice because of *********** staff. I am so SICK OF MATRIX. Whatever you do, do not fall for their thieving business.
Do NOT order online from Makro. Nearly 3 weeks and still waiting for my order. Wasted over R300.00 worth of airtime phoning and following up every single day. Flippie has blocked all emails. His PA laughed at me on the phone. I am absolutely DISGUSTED BY THIS COMPANY and will NEVER ever support any of the Massmart chains again. Absolute thieving unhelpful disgraceful company.
What an absolutely shocking experience with this company. Continuously tried calling, calls don’t get answered and dropped. Have emailed 7 times with zero response. Comments on social media posts have been deleted by staff members like clockwork on the daily. Messages on Facebook have been ignored. I am disgusted by the customer service and will now be taking legal action.
