Prior to the lock down due to Covid-19, we had booked a taxi with Just Car hire for June 2020. I have been trying to call them from the beginning of May to request an extension or refund, I have called more than 20 times and emailed more than 15 times and I have not received a response to date. I am actually disgusted at the level of service or lack thereof. I am actually not sure what to do.
I initially contacted clientele legal to assist with a letter of demand due to a dispute with my previous landlord. I had explained the situation to them and they agreed to whatever I said, not even sure whether it was correct legally. They sent the letter of demand eventually (which also took long). My previous landlord responded to them, they had forwarded this to me. I responded and my legal adviser tried calling me ONCE and I was unable to take the call. I tried calling back about 6 times leaving messages and escalating the matter but days and weeks went by and these people still has not gotten back to me. I eventually phoned AGAIN and a guy told me my legal adviser will call me back however I refused and insisted someone take my call immediately then only did they transfer me to this lady. I eventually spoke to her and she told me that 14 days had passed after we sent the letter of demand and that I now need to go to small claims court where they will assist me and clientele cannot, only to find that out that what I was advised on was completely incorrect. I had to start the entire process from scratch again. I have even escalated the matter maybe 2 to 3 times and none of their supervisors bothered to call me back. Please do not waste your time with this company. Totally disgusted that all my money was wasted on their premium and came to the time to assist me, they could not.
There was a misunderstanding regarding the payment of the installment for Cell C However the amount was paid up in 2014 and CELL C has not updated this on the credit bureau as yet and we are now in 2017. Trying to contact the legal department for 3 days now and there is no answer and no one can assist me at the customer service contact center, we have applied for a bond and it was declined because of this. I have called about 3 times now to request them to update this and it has not yet been updated!!!! Cell C service is honestly pathetic, once my contract is ended I will never use them again. This is affecting our lives negatively and no one seems to care at Cell C. Even their staff is incompetent. I am beyond annoyed and is now considering legal action.
