I ordered and paid (more of less R1500.00) for an item on the 30th Jan for my sons Bday, which was on the 6Feb. I received the wrong item on the 3 Feb and since then have had endless phone calls and emails to try and get this sorted out. I have spoken and received emails from no less than 5 different people. Problem NOT sorted out yet, almost 3 weeks later!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My son is still waiting on his Bday Prezzie and I'm still out of my money that I've paid for something I haven't received yet. I have decided to report this to the Ombudsman (dont know if I can though - but its worth a try if it means I will get my item paid for already)
I had a very bad experience at Steers in Paarl at Monument Motors ( Shell Garage) yesterday. First they got my order wrong - got half the order out and had to wait another hour to get 6 burgers - - they had no paper to wrap burgers with (apparently out of stock!) and this on Wacky Wednesday! No plastic cups for take-away Sauce's People stood around for a long time and waited for their food - One customer left - he came in after me and ordered 1 Wacky Wednesday which after 30min was not ready - he asked for a refund and left without his food and another woman had to leave because she too waited too long - BAD SERVICE!!! Where is the Manager of this store??? Too little staff that works there. Food was cold!
