I purchased a Hoover vacuum cleaner from Home of Living Brands in June last year. Shortly after placing the order, I sent an email requesting cancellation, but I never received any response and the order was not cancelled. The vacuum cleaner is now faulty. Although the machine switches on, it has no suction and is therefore not fit for its intended purpose. I have attempted to resolve this matter directly with the company, but I have not received satisfactory assistance. I am extremely disappointed with both the product quality and the lack of customer service. As a consumer, I expect a functional product and proper communication from the supplier. I am requesting urgent assistance to resolve this matter through a repair, replacement, or refund in line with the Consumer Protection Act. I hope Home of Living Brands will address this issue promptly and provide a fair resolution.
I recently shipped a package with DHL International with a goods value of only $18, but I was charged R438 in customs duty. I understand that customs fees are determined by local regulations, but this charge feels quite high compared to the value of the goods. I would appreciate clearer upfront information on possible customs and handling fees to avoid surprises.
We bought dinning chairs from Essops klerksdorp. At the time of purchasing, we weren't informed that we will be sold 'defective' items. Apparently thats something we were just supposed to understand since it was on the floor. Within a few months(2-3months), the leather starred peeling off. When we reported this, we were told if we want it to be repaired we have to pay EXTRA. What poor quality if items can't even last for 3 months? Bare in mind we paid a R1000 per chair. NOT ONLY ONE OR TWO ALL EIGHT CHAIRS AND WE ARE USING ONLY LEATHER CLEANING .
I was offered a package to tour Turkey by Irshad Manjra from Manjra tours, the package included the following: Airfares and taxes, 6 nights accommodation near Blue mosque, buffet breakfast and Turkish Visa. I was initially offered this package with 4 star hotel accommodation on the 11th October, on the 12th October Irshad got back to me with a very similar package but a 5 star hotel instead with 7 nights to which I then confirmed that he may go ahead and book the package. I was told that I would be advised once done (11:10am) the day passed with no further response. On Monday, 15th October I messaged Irshad to find out if he had any updates for me (08:31am) to which he replied 20 minutes later that he would advise just now. yet another day passed with no further response from Mr Manjra. On Tuesday morning, 16th October I messaged again to find out about any updates and if our bookings were confirmed (08:28am) . I received a reply that systems were out the previous day, that the hotel which we were trying to book is now fully booked and then yet another hotel was being offered to me MB deluxe hotel in Istanbul at the same price for 7 nights.. I read reviews about the hotel being offered and told Irshad that I was not happy about this hotel to which he replied "early bird catches the worm" all other packages getting sold out.. all this time the delay had been from he's side. in the mean time my visas were paid for and being processed while I tried to build my own package of flights, accommodation, transport etc but did not get far and waited for Irshad to respond.. on the 17th October I messaged him to find out about any updates to which Irshad responded with yet another different hotel in this package and I immediately told him to book for us if is five star hotel in this same price. but he sent another name of the hotel and said near waterfront unfortunately I didn't check hotel reviews on internet when I checked hotel pictures and location immediately I told him we don't want Book this hotel The 2nd choice hotel's standard didn't match our expectations, so we informed the agency same day. but he said he already booked and he can't change now what he offered In package and what he provide with cheap third class hotel which we don't want to stay. he charged us same price of five star hotel packages with airfare and transfer and booked in cheap hotel. unexpected service from Manjras travels.

MAFIKENG SKYNET AGENT HAVE LOST MY PARCEL THIS is just frustrating, we trust courier with our important parcels and they are either lost or kept for long periods. The skynet mafikeng lost my parcel and and no help from them. I tried to call them and sent many emails but no updates on my lost my parcel tracking number. SNX ********** I WANT CLAIM FROM SKYNET BUT THEY SAID PARCEL WAS NOT INSURED SO I CAN'T GET ANYTHING. The person who is responsible for my parcel is poppy from skynet mafikeng. Very bad service from Skynet mafikeng.
Incompetent!!! I ordered a parcel from Turkey over 4 weeks ago. My parcel has been in customs for more than 4 weeks according to the aramex website. When I contacted Mr Tiro ,he told me the issue had been elevated with customs. I then received no response subsequent to this. Essentially meaning nothing was done. I then asked him for the e-mail addresses of someone who could help me at customs but no one is helping .I am yet to receive a response. This is incompetency at its finest. They asked me about my id and commercial invoice all the documents provided. I already paid custom duty. Still they don't want to release my parcel. Never again with Aramex global shopper.
