<div>Okay seeing as though they reported my previous review for no REAL reason I will try this again... Dear Melody South Africa. Your service and CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SHOCKINGLY POOR. As previously stated, you are an online shop with zero of your own branded shops. Therefore when I sent a message to melody SA on whatsapp (which you encourage clients to do) I had to wait anything between 24 - 12 hours to get one reply from you... one message... meaning it took me DAYS to get any information from you and on top of that MELDOY SA IS VERY UNHELPFUL. I simply asked if the sizes of Melody SA was SIMILAR to Freddy SA after which the attitude of the customer care agent was shocking and very very unhelpful as I was asked to drive from Helderkruin to Woodemead to try a pair on. After a LONG drive and struggle I happened to notice that your sizes are almost exactly the same as Freddy sizes and had your sales person been more helpful I would of actually ended up purchasing on of your products. I understand that every brand has their own sizing and way they do things but i asked if the sizes were SIMILAR to which your response was snobby and unhelpful.</div>
Very disappointed. So firstly, I live in Roodepoort and I started off by sending an enquiry to the Melody SA team on whatsapp as per their website so that I can order online. I waited forever for a reply to my first message where I asked about the sizes seeing as though Melody SA doesn't have their own branded Melody SA shops and I did not want to buy the incorrect size followed by all the admin needed to return it for the correct size. I wear Freddy Jeans and I asked about whether the sizes are similar or not. I have never spoken to a retail sales person as rude as this person on their whatsapp line. I was told that they are completely different and that I need to take a 45 min trip to Woodmead to try it on... These jeans are still expensive and I wanted to make sure that I chose the correct size and the way I was treated on the whatsapp messages have ensured that I will never buy the Melody SA brand. I did drive all the way to Woodmead to The Outlet where I tried on these jeans...... the size is exactly the same as Freddy. I am an XS in Melody and Freddy... but I am glad that I got to see the material and quality of these pants/jeans. I tried on a bright red pair and you could see straight through them. The army pair I tried on had threads that were unravelling everywhere and it looked like very poor quality. This is all my opinion and my experience. I did however feel it important to put this review up seeing as though the whatsapp chat at Melody SA was very unhelpful, took a lot of time to get back to me (each time I replied I either waited a day or at least 12 hours for a reply which just can't work if you are only selling online) and I understand that you cannot get back to every customer asap and we are all people, but I truly did not appreciate the way I was treated when I asked if Melody and Freddy had SIMILAR sizes. Guess, Factorie, Cotton On, Edgars all differ slightly in sizes yes, and I would expect any brand to differ slightly to another brand, but the blatant disregard for my enquiry (especially since Melody does not have their own stores and this is the only way to actually communicate with Melody SA) was not okay for me. I am glad if others are happy with their product (the product at the Outlet may have been old stock etc and their Army pants looked realy nice except for the threads that were pulling out) but I was unhappy with their service.
So my fiance and I were at the galagar decorex show this year and we came across custom couches. We decided to purchase a couch there. I sent them a number of emails requesting an invoice, statement and when delivery would occur but I didn't get a response. They do not reply to emails, they do not call you back and they DO NOT COMMUNICATE PROPERLY. If you read some of the other reviews and especially Google reviews you will see that I am not the exception. I was told that at 50% payment I could get deliverey of the couch. The day comes to deliver, and after requesting delivery between 2-5pm, I get a call at 11:30 saying they want to deliver now and I have an outstanding payment which they will need paid before they leave the couch with me... I explained to the delivery boy what I have been told followed by a nasty change in attitude. My fiance then decided to take over. We got the money together for the final payment and we decided to go inspect the couch first. My fiance was then told to f*** off and that he is not a customer since it was my name written on the quite (but his contact details were there and he even sent them an email to which we actually got a reply, stating that they needed to deal with him from now on). It firstly took more than double the time they promised to actually manufacture the couch and the service was horrendous... Please do yourself a favor and stay away. Other things that we noticed is that all the '5* good reviews *on Google were done by the sales people, the DIRECTOR, and family members of the company... This is shocking.
So my boyfriend and I moved in together into a townhouse in Fourways where we were assigned to someone to manage the property. Her name is Charlene Pather I really am appalled by the lack of communication and the unethical behavior that was shown. The first month was okay, where she communicated to us.. however it wasn't long before we became a distant memory. We were completely ignored!!! We have been living in the townhouse for almost 6 months now and the only thing that was fixed that had been reported in the FIRST WEEK of occupation has been fixed. The rest is still to be done. We were promised by her that she would speak to the owner and we waited. We contacted her several times in order to follow up with her but nothing came of it. She came up with excuses like her laptop had crashed and she could not contact us. We have NOT received a water and electricity bill since moving into the property... We spoke to her and BEGGED her to please send it through to us as we did not want to look like bad tenants to the owner of the home seeing as though we would eventually like to purchase the house from the owner. Eventually after two months of silence, I contacted the real estate agent and the owner to let them know what was happening. The Owner was shocked as she had been sending through the bills every month. She was under the impression that everything had been sorted out and that we were the ones who were simply not paying our bills. The owner and the real estate agent tried to contact Charlene but she simply ignored every email (which she read due to a read receipt) and call that was sent her way. She has not said it but her actions show that she is simply not interested in making an effort to help us (which she is being paid to do). I am someone who tried to be very understanding and I can be patient.... But this was absolutely horrible.
