I have looked on FNB online banking for my home loan IT3B tax certificate and I am unable to find it anywhere. Please advise - is it available online and, if so, where do I go to find it? It should be a more user friendly process and it should be simple to find this document. FNB please assist and update your site to make it easy to find the document.
My car was in limp mode. The guys from EM Service Centre in Edgemead Cape Town kept my car at their workshop and went through a process of trial and error, replacing parts as they went along. The cost of the "repair" built up to over R14000, and the car was still in limp mode. I asked them to put all my old parts back and refund my money, but they would not do that. I had asked them for all my old parts to be returned, but only one part was returned. I believe that they disconnected my car's aircon to "resolve" the problem. My car was returned with absolutely no petrol in the tank - the red light was on. I have no idea where they went with the car to use up all the petrol, there was at least a quarter tank of petrol in when they received the car. It is going now, but I have no aircon, and the cost was R14011.60. I now need to take my car elsewhere to figure out what the actual problem is and to sort it out so that the car runs properly with the aircon connected. I will NEVER return to EM Service Centre. Holger, the main guy there (I think that he is the owner of the business) does not know what he is doing. Trying to fix a car by trial and error and building up a huge cost in the process is not the way to go about sorting out car problems. I do not even trust that all the parts they said were replaced were actually replaced.
I returned 2 of the same item almost a month ago. There is not an option to select how many items one's returning, so when I dropped them off at the Takealot branch in Milnerton, I asked Blake to provide proof that I was dropping off 2 items, and needed to be refunded for both. Blake kindly sent an email to Matthew Bezuidenhout at Takealot telling him that I needed a refund for 2 items, and copied me on this email at my request. Had I not requested this "proof", I am not sure what I would have done. I only received a refund for 1 item, and all emails that I send to ask about the 2nd refund are completely ignored. I will continue following up until this is resolved. This is shocking customer service for such a large and well known company. A warning - if you return 2 items of the same thing to Superbalist, demand proof that 2 were returned.
Poolright built my pool and supplied the filter and pump in 2014. The filter that was supplied does not look anything like the filters available in any hardware store. It is "home-made" and made from fibre glass. A Poolright employee informed me that they own the mould for these filters, ones that were produced and sold YEARS ago. From day 1, my filter did not work properly, and the pump made a VERY loud noise when running. My Kreepy Krauly would work for 5 minutes, and then stop. My pool was turning green overnight, even after shock treating it. Poolright totally ignored any email or telephone complaints from me. Tyron would say that they would come and have a look when I phoned them (when someone answered the phone which was not very often), but nobody ever arrived. After more that a year of complaining, they eventually sent someone to my house. He confirmed that the filter needed to be replaced, as it was leaking badly. He also confirmed that the fact that the Kreepy Krauly did not work was due to the faulty filter. I had to wait another week for them to bring a new filter, and when they did the "new" filter was much smaller than the original one. When I told them that I needed the bigger filter, they told me that the size of the filter made no difference. So I went to Brights Hardware to purchase new filter sand, and the guy working in the pool department informed me that the strength of the pump determined the size of the filter, i.e. that a strong pump could not be used with a small filter, that the filter would burst. (When my pool was built, Poolright had asked me if I ever intended to heat the water, and a strong pump (more expensive) was installed for this purpose.) I told the Poolright guy that I was not accepting the small filter. They had already removed the original one, and I had to wait another week for them to bring another filter. The one that was brought and fitted looked like a second hand version of the original one. It has never worked either, my Kreepy Krauly has not worked since my pool was installed. Poolright have continued to ignore all emails and phone calls, and 3 weeks ago, I had to switch off the pump as it was making a much louder noise than ever before, and it was not working at all - I tried to backwash, circulate, rinse, etc. but nothing worked. After emailing them and complaining on their Facebook page, Poolright got an ex employee to email me and to offer his services at a cost to me. This is totally UNBELIEVABLE and UNACCEPTABLE. My pump has been switched off for 3 weeks now, and it would appear that I need to replace everything at my own cost. It probably would have been the cheapest route to go from the outset considering the amount of money I have spent on pool chemicals to try to keep my pool from turning green. My advice to anyone wanting to install a pool is to NOT USE Poolright AT ALL. You will be horribly disappointed if you do.
