I recently had a 16kVA Sunsynk inverter, 38 solar panels, and 3 Dyness batteries installed by DNF Electric, and the experience was outstanding. Neville ***ner) and Shane (electrician) were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. The rest of the team—whose names I, unfortunately, can’t recall—were just as efficient, friendly, and committed to high-quality workmanship. Turnaround time was excellent, communication was clear throughout, and the after-care support has been top-notch. It’s refreshing to deal with a company that truly values customer satisfaction and delivers on their promises. I can confidently recommend DNF Electric for anyone looking for a reliable, professional solar installation team.
We had the absolute pleasure of attending the grand opening of the new Turn ’n Tender in Paarl, hosted by the wonderful Ian and Joan. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and appreciated—what a fantastic start to an unforgettable evening. The food was exceptional: • My husband enjoyed a perfectly prepared 300g fillet steak with chips—tender, flavorful, and cooked to absolute perfection. • I had the 200g fillet steak with mash, pumpkin and spinach, and every bite was pure delight. • For dessert, my husband had a whiskey Dom Pedro, smooth and indulgent, while I had the baked cheesecake—without a doubt the best cheesecake I have ever tasted. The quality of the food was outstanding, and the entire dining experience was exceptional from start to finish. A special mention must go to our lovely waitress Nkosi, who was an absolute delight—friendly, patient, and offering truly excellent service throughout the evening. She added a warm, personal touch that made the experience even more memorable. Congratulations to Ian and Joan on a wonderful opening. Turn ’n Tender Paarl is a superb addition to the area, and we look forward to many future visits!
I spotted SNOODIE on Instagram, placed my order online for their Advance Cervical Relief Pillow (Oder #1178) on 7 June 2025. Despite several follow-ups, including an email on 22 June and again on 10 July, I have not received my order, tracking number, or even a meaningful response. On 22 June, I was told that new inventory was arriving on 24 June and orders would be dispatched soon after. It's now well over a month later, and I've heard nothing further. My last request asked for confirmation of dispatch, tracking details, or a refund - all have been ignored. I called the number listed on their emails for Customer Support - 069 835 1358 - no answer. After a couple of days, I did manage to get through to someone named Njabulo, who gave me Leon Mathula's ***ner) number - 069 970 9813. Again - no answer and no return call despite my voicemail. The lack of service and communication raises several red flags: - No delivery after more than a month - Empty promises about stock - Phone calls go unanswered - No tracking or shipping confirmation - No refund offered This is unacceptable business practice and borders on *****. If SNOODIE cannot fulfill their orders or provide clear communication and refunds, they should not be trading. I am escalating this to the South African ***** Prevention Service (SAFPS) and Consumer Protection if I don't receive a full refund immediately. I strongly urge others to be cautious when buying from SNOODIE.
Worst garden service ever. Only keen to take your money. Very little to none after sale’s support. Sub standard. They have been fired from previous jobs before.
Bought 7 tickets on 13 Nov 2018 to the BoneyM show in Kirstenbosch Cape Town. Please be aware that Viagogo is out there to scam you. I paid R700.80 per ticket as opposed to the going price of R350/R360!!! They must be well aware of their “criminal intent” to rob you of your money as they don’t advertise Viagogo on the tickets per se. Instead it reflects WebTicket! Don’t fall prey.
My husband and I spent one night at this lovely guest house. Food – superb (come hungry), setting – overlooking the Port with beautiful sunsets, service – excellent & professional. The waiters were perfectly fluent in both English & Afrikaans – well done! The only criticism I have is that the live entertainment was too loud for the dining room area. We opted to have our dinner outside on the patio where you could still enjoy the music. Enver Hendricks went out of his way to compensate us for the “inconvenience” and offered us champagne on the house. What an excellent host he is! Then there were the lumpy pillows on our bed – due for a replacement. Despite this, we had a lovely overall stay and I can well recommend Russells on the Port to everyone. We will certainly visit you again.
