Selling items under false pretenses Purchased a Edblo Boise double Base and Mattress on 1 May, swipes my card for the full amount for the set of R9,695.00 plus delivery plus a mattress protector. The Sales consultant Chris informed that they do not have stock and that they will have to make it, I asked that he first found out how long it will take before I proceed with the purchase. He informed that it will take between 2 and 3 weeks. I paid and waited. The day after I received a call from the head office informing me that they received my order and payment and will keep me updated on the progress. The following Tuesday they called again and said they will contact me on Thursday as they have no date of delivery yet. Thursday they called with the same story and said they will call Tuesday, Tuesday they called again and said it is still being made and that they will call me Thursday. Thursday they called and said they will call me Tuesday 21 May with an update and hopefully they will have a delivery date by then. Today 21 May I called them for an update to which I was told that they do not have any information and management will contact me. After numerous calls and waiting for Management to call back I was informed that the bed and base was never made and was discontinued. They then wanted to give me another bed with the same name and deliver by next week Friday 31 May. I am not comfortable with this offer as I have not guarantee that the product I will receive is of the same quality, material etc as the one I sat on in the store and paid for. I called back to speak to the Owner Shawn who could not take my call as he was busy with a client, I informed the lady that I have been calm and patient for 3 weeks and that I am no longer waiting and want my money back. She then said that it takes 7 working days for them to refund. This is totally unacceptable seeing that I paid in full on 1 May and they have been sitting with my money for 21 days feeding me lies about the product being made when in fact nothing was even being made. Should they have been honest with me from the start I would have gone back to the store and chosen a different bed set but at this stage I honestly can not trust this company anymore.
Petworld & Groomworld Roodepoort Princess Crossing *Terrible Service* Went in on Friday 19 Jan to make a booking for 2 Angora rabbits to be groomed and had their nails clipped the same day. The booking was for 9am Monday 22 Jan. The Sunday prior to our appointment we just received an sms that our appointment was canceled and that we need to reschedule. We called on Monday 22 January and rescheduled for Saturday 26 January. Asked why our appointment was canceled and was told that they don't have answers and will investigate. Today we went in for the new appointment and the receptionist could not assist and went to ask Sarah for assistance, Sarah called me to the till where she was standing saying that she doesn't know whether the groomer as a blade and that they will only be able to do the nails. It told her that the nails was already done and that we have already rescheduled. She did not have any explanation for the pathetic service. I informed my partner that I would rather find a competent place to have them groomed and walked out. The receptionist has no clue what's going on and Sarah (supposedly the manager) is extremely rude and has no client service etiquette. I buy from this store on a monthly basis and even bought both my rabbits there. I have never received such bad service having to travel up and down with animals in this heat just for incompetent people being unable to assist. I will never support pet world or groom world again nor would I suggest anyone making use of this store and their services.
