Good day, A call was logged early yesterday morning HLB/226/469468 with assessor Palesa Veronica Mabote assigned, when you try and call her line she is never available, This claim is for a burst geyser for my husbands property, their are small kids living at this address, can there be some urgency please, Not on!
Good day, I would like to raise awareness about Vodacom, I have also logged a complaint with the NCC, so, to Vodacom - be on the look out for that correspondence. I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with the continued notifications and statements I am receiving for a device that was returned to your offices and never activated. This item was cancelled on the same day it was ordered. I never received the package and I obtained the delivery note from Skynet that it was returned to your offices and never opened. Why are you charging me? I have been back and forth with myself and your *********** agents who can never find resolution. They do not even transfer me to someone superior when I request that and they just cut the call. Trace on your systems how many times I have contacted your call center. It is ridiculous. I have contacted your agents on multiple occasions, and they have confirmed that all services related to this device have been removed from my account. Despite these assurances, I continue to receive these incorrect statements for services that were never in my possession or activated. To resolve this issue, please investigate the call I made on 28/02/2025. The call reference number is 005E03836A20CE39. I spoke to Busi Khumalo. This call should verify that the device was returned and the services were to be terminated. I also spoke to another agent on 14-06-2025, Lumka, who transferred me to another department, and then the line got cut and I did not receive a call back. On the 21 June i received an email from a no reply email address from Vodacom stating my number has been converted to prepaid. I have never requested this, as I want everyone off my name from Vodacom. Please advise what the heck you guys are doing there before I investigate all customers facing the same challenges and build a case to take to the media. I received a statement today, 08-07-2025, with a reduced balance for something still not in my possession or that I have ever used. Make it make sense, Vodacom???? Contact me on 073 226 2080 to let me know when you have removed this item off my name ASAP. noelle.vittee08@gmail.com
our event was 22 November 2019. Please be very careful when you book a package deal with these people, the manager Lawrence lies and did not make sure everything was in order for our year end function which i booked way in advance and called to confirm the week prior to our function if all was in order, he told me all was good. We paid in full for a package for the Soweto tour which includes lunch, drinks at each stop plus 1 at lunch as well as a tour of Soweto of 3 stop overs. the bus was supposed to provide drinks through out the trip as well. Firstly the bus was late, then we were told the drinks on the bus was not organized in time so no drinks. I ordered 2 halal meals to be included with our normal food order for 50 people which was communicated by Lawrence to me, that it would be supplied at the lunch venue. There was no halal lunch booked with the venue and our seating was short. Another company having their function at the venue allowed our halal staff to eat from their halal food catered. Bus manager then orders Nandos which arrives only when we about to go on the tour and then both manager and bus driver were not provided money by Lawrence to pay for the halal meal that they ordered therefore my CFO took out his own money to pay and was told he would receive a refund. When we got the the first tour stop the owners informed us that there was no function booked or planned and they were closed. By then i was so fed up i advised the bus driver to take us to 1 more stop that was open and then to start the drop offs as it was already late. By the way Lawrence did not give the bus manager enough money to pay for our drinks at the tour stops as well and they were panicked and had to wait a long to actually receive the money to pay. The bus manager Thalo and the owner Lawrence both promised me refunds for the halal meals we paid for including my CFO paying for the Nandos which the bus manager ordered from Uber as well a refund for the drinks we paid for on the bus. I have inquired about the refunds from the 25 November and to date i have received no response and Lawrence has now blocked my number. This is theft and false pretenses. I will pursue this with the SA consumer's protection committee as i have sent numerous emails advising them to get back to me before i take these steps. They obviously do not care about their customers and can blatantly rob them. The sad part is that we have used their service before in 2017 and the drivers were rude, when i informed Lawrence he apologies and informed me this event would be perfect. Lies.
I ordered Vodacom Fibre on the 20 November 2019, the next day I cancelled it because I found a better deal at another provider. their cancellation period is 48 hours after order, I spoke to about 6 different consultants to request my cancellation confirmation letter/receipt so I could provide it to the other provider in order for them to place my order. No one is able to send me my cancellation confirmation to date 05 December 2019 despite more than 1 supervisor/manager getting involved. I still have a cell phone contract out with them and I am so upset the expiration is not anytime soon. The consultants promise to call me back yet they never do. Can someone who cares about customers please contact me asap my cancellation ref is SR-191121-927464 why can't we get hold of the people we dealth with? it seems vodacom protects its employees and does not care about it's customers. Sophia Seutloali is not helpful.
I would just like to recommend Loom insurance to anyone looking to take out insurance on any of their devices, I submitted my claim for my stolen cell phone on Monday, claim was approved on Tuesday and I received my phone on Wednesday. Christine kept me in the loop throughout the process. Thank you Loom and Christine! I re-insured my new device and to my surprise my premium actually decreased from what I initially paid. Absolutely amazing service.
We used this catering company to provide Spit Braai for my work function in Rosebank. We paid R3750.00. The caterer Raseegan brought 3 legs of lamb only (Robbery),which was not even Spit braai'd, He braai'd the legs of lamb on a braai stand in some kind of pot.Which obviously did not cater for all 30 people at the function. The rolls were not bought and nor did he have any means of going to fetch them. If i did not enquire we would not have got them. I had to order him a taxify to go and fetch the rolls. Rolls were not cut or buttered, it was left in the kitchen for me serve. The caterer informed me he was short staffed as they had another event that day(not my problem!!) Food was only ready an hour or more later than agreed time. We were supposed to get roast carrots but when he informed me he was going to make the carrots he actually just took all his stuff and disappeared. We are very disappointed in this service and will by no means ever use their service again as i did give him an opportunity to compensate us but he refused and said he would only reimburse the money for carrots. What a pity because the food was actually nice.
