Fantastic service from Johan. Would definitely recommend. You select your goods, get confirmation if stock is available, pay for said items and it get courier to your doorstep, well package in good working order. If only all online shopping was this pleasant. Thanks again to Johan. 10/10
Pushing their system and supplier stock issue onto their customers and claim to cant do anything about it. Customer sevice numer does not answer. Guys just use to app to see what you want to buy, look at supplier at the bottom of the description and buy it directly from them and if there is issue the supplier is more capable to sort it out. Thats what befits should be using takealot but its not they cant be bothered just credit and force you to buy higher priced items
Ordered stuff and due to the looting could not get the stuff so they offered me a refund, i took it the kind offer however got charged a R380 cancelation fee...take your app and f**k off..taking advantage of people in a f**king crisis, disgusting. Those items will all be covered by insurance and you still want to make money off of it. You can take your online platform and shove it with this finger ?
TLDR Do not waste your time, from the sales (Thabang) right through to the DP (Hentie) who has zero control of his staff with reports of corrupt staff withing the business. When you approach them with your money no problem friendliest people that you'll meet but don't let that fool you, when the product they sold you has issues they dont stand behind it, they leave you stranded, don't give two ****s. These aren't people that deserve your money. I recently purchased a vehicle from them, Thabang being the person who assisted me. The vehicle was listed as being "Excellent" condition and it was lead to believe thats how it was and it had undergone a full inspection with no issue reported, however as soon as i left the lot after being kept waiting for 7hours, i started noticing issues, first I noticed that the wheel alignment was off and the car was pulling left, then I noticed i can't engage the cruise control and then the auto stop start wasn't working, then i took the car to Tyger Wheel & Tyre and found out 3 out 4 tires were severely cut and was told its actually a danger to drive, then on top of that a low oil pressure alarm came up. Within the first day!. I reported all these issues to Thabang and was promised that it would be sorted out as soon as i arrive back in Durban. I followed up for 2 weeks with numerous emails and phone calls in regards to the repairs but no arrangements were being made and 95% of the time they didn't even bother to answer any of my call or phone back, i finally lost my temper and had to arrange for the vehicle to go in for repairs to Audi Pinetown because the low oil pressure alarm kept popping up and now the check engine light also came on, when then found out that i sent the car away only then did they start to intervene and the way i found out was when i phone the worksop to find out of they found any issues they told me the car was taken away, after 4hours of phoning around and trying to figure out why they car was moved found out that they have arranged for the car to be taken to a sister company of theirs without informing me, i then found out the vehicle was bound to spend a week there minimum, i was now left stranded without a vehicle and when asked to please arrange for a courtesy vehicle i was blatantly lied to by the DP Hentie that they aren't allowed to give them out because of Covid and when i phone the workshop where the vehicle was booked into they confirmed that they do give out courtesy cars. Once they were called out on this then decided to arrange for a vehicle. After 3weeks of back and forth the vehicle was deemed to have major internal damage and the deal was canceled and reversed the courtesy vehicle had to be returned, once i found out the vehicle had to be returned i phoned Thabang and asked to arrange transport back from the sister company and he promised to arrange a vehicle, once i got there i asked the staff if Thabang has gotten in touch with them and they said no, i phoned Thabang amd he said he didnt have time to arrange anything and that i have canceled the deal and left me stranded, a week later and I'm still stuck without a car and the money for my trade in still hasn't been paid back so i can buy a new vehicle. It has been a headache since day one im taking this up with MIOSA but i know it a long shot but i hope these guys get taken to task because this should not be allowed.
This was my last transaction with takealot, simply because of the admin division. Order was processed incorrectly, and upon logging a concern and to correct the item get insulted and get told i have to log an exchange, and doing so get told the item i want in exchange is not available and my account will be refunded. Then i go back on the app to see that the item i wanted is in stock. The log another complaint and get told i requested that my account get credited after stating that i needed the other item??? Keep the f@&%!* credit, will never use this online service again
This is a whole string of unauthorized debit orders, im forced to go through my bank statements every week to see that theres no debit orders that have come off and dispute them I've gone in to a FNB branch multiple times now and its the same answer "we can do nothing about it except open an new account" I believe this to be very poor standards, i entrust and invest my money with a bank so that they can give me the best possible service and its becoming real problem This month a total of 3 debit orders came off for a total of R296..which i had to dispute once again! FNB are you F@*%¥ kidding me! Is it not possible to authorize any debit order in a branch and refuse any others? Is it not possible to send a notification via OTP to authorize any debit and have it reported as a scam before the money goes off Either way now im either getting money removed from my account from a scam agency if it slips under the radar or im getting charged for reversal costs on the dispute...why the F&€$ is this my problem! I hope this get blown wide open soon and banks get sued to **** because im sure they are in on it, otherwise a system would have bee put in place a looong time ago
