Amongst others they offer on-line Power Back-Up Systems of many shapes and sizes. I selected one 3000 VA Plug and Play system with 2 Lithium batteries. The specifications price were good and the delivery time of 1. or 2. week September was perfect for me. mot bus and after some back and forth they agreed to accept a 25 % deposit on order. Whem I received their official order document a new delivery date of October was stipulated. On my query they refused to amend their order document, claiming it was an "official document" and therefore not amendable. As I was verty dependent on the original delivery date (I explained my situation to them) and could not accept the new delivery date they cancelled my order. I have a problem of paying full Whack on order (not even laid eyes on the product) and accepting a newt delivery date (4 weeks later) without any written commitment from the company----only a verbal promise.
I have to offer some additional comments why I do not recommend BOZZA cft at all. I ordered an item which was listed as 1 IN STOCK. I received a confirmation that mypayment was received (automated response) and that I wold be informed about the status of my order. 2 days later I had no information from them and tred to contact them. Their phone number was not manned and served only as a message recorder. Long story short: I sent them about 4 or 5 e-mails and left approx. 5 messages on their "phone" NO REPLY OR ACKNOWLEDGEMENT When I did give them my bank details for the refund which I demanded ..NO REPLY. I then lodge a complaint with the CGSO . I then decided to try once more via e-mail and finally got a phone call from them stating that they had initiated a refund (which I received 2 days later) and as their excuse for NON COMMUNICATION they cited TELKOM PROBLEMS. During the whole time my order was listed as "PENDING" on their website despite (their lie) that there was stock. NEVER AGAIN FOR ME !!!
Their offerof a huge variety of products is absolutely fantastic and their prices are more or less reasonable but sometimes they are way out ! My main gripe is their web site with .their multitude of different product types. I looked for instance for an AUTOMATIC COFFE MAKER and was directed to a page with some offerings. When asking for a specific machine (manufacturer) it came up in a different page. Similar things happened with other items too. Often you suddenly find books ??? within a particular product search. Maybe the books bear resemblance to the product on offer but surely don"t belong there. In my opinion the website with their sub-sites should ideally be totally re-constructed. I had a case , looking for a ceramic cooking hob from Bosch and this product was NOT AVAILABLE (could not be found ) but when I used GOOGLE with the same hob description the BOSCH HOB CAME UP and --surprise, surprise FROM TAKEALOT !!! THIS SHOULD NOT HAPPEN !!!
I ordered an electric kettle of a red color acc. to their advertised photo (red) and description , which was the color RED (earlier we received a lamp shade and 2 bar stools in red as well from them). What I received was not RED but a sort of "BURGUNDY METALLIC ". After a few e-mails back and forth I was requested to provide photos of the BURGUNDY Kettle plus photos of the bar codes on the packaging. THE STAFF I was communicating with did not seem to see the very profound difference between RED and BURGUNDY METALLIC". This matter was escalated up after 2 days of back and forth and they finally accepted my need for a refund But checking their kettle offerings today still shows the same kettle as RED... while another kettle in "Burgundy" is correctly described as "Burgundy ". Be careful when ordering color stuff from any website.,
I ordered an item with Yuppiechef and was immediately told that they are out of stock and would notify me when available. I asked them when they would expect new stock to which they replied "13. May" On Friday 14.May they texted me that I could expect delivery of the item on Monday 17.May..... BINGO I receivedit Monday.....
BOZZA never replied to my repeated queries about my order situation (ordered on 7.5.2021) either via their contact number (which is simply a voice message recorder) or via their on-site e-mail. I tried at least 5 or 6 times on both contact details but NEVER GOT ANY ACNOWLEDGEMENT ORF REPLY. My order remained "PENDING" till tyoday. I then submitted a complaint to CONSUMER COUNCIL OMBUD and yesterday (17.5.) I received an e-mail from BOZZA asking my bank details for a refund while my order was still "PENDING" Never again!!
I purchased a HTC ONE m8 cell phone at the beginning of 2014 because I read quite a few reviews which were very positive and all indicated that this phone was some way ahead of the usual SAMSUNG / LG / etc comopetition, All is true and I enjoy my phone still today and do not want any other. It is in pristine condition and works brilliantly. PROBLEM: The battery is nearing the end of its life and the HYC call centre told me that HTC does not support this phone with batteries anymore.....BUT they could give me 20% on a new phone !!!!..BANG, BANG, brilliant , functioning phone onto the rubbish heap... Shocling, I will not touch a HTC again..... Gerd Kopanski
