Zando send out an email with boot specials, they advertise a boot with an incorrect price, however since it's been advertised at that price they liable to sell it to me at the advertised price. I call to make sure they have stock which they do. I email the Service email address given 3 times attaching the advert etc and NOT A SINGLE RESPONSE. What must I do to get i touch with them???
Had a horrific meal at Waxys in Sunningdale on a Wednesday evening, their "Burger Special" night. Besides the terrible service, the food was just unacceptable. The food was ice cold, not a single onion ring was on the board? No Avo but a s**** of guacamole? a smudge of feta... seriously! I send a complaint to them which they responded to, and I was told they would get back to me after looking into it.... well over a week later and not a word? I even sent them another email asking for an outcome to their investigation into the horrific meal and nothing... Clearly they don't need or want the business and don't mind the bad publicity!
I find it incomprehensible that I can send Pick 'n Pay Hypermarket by the sea a complaint via there OWN website and not even receive a response in a week??? I bought "Tomato Griller" boerewors from the Pick 'n Pay Hypermarket by the Sea in Durban North only to cook it and find out it's chilli NOT Tomato! What a waste to throw away R 46 worth of food as no-one could eat it...
I phoned Hyundai Umhlanga because my Hyundai i10 radio has not been working properly for about a week and wanted to make sure it was still under warranty before I bring it to them to have it fixed. The lady took all my details of the vehicle and told me it was still under warranty until end August 2018. I booked it ion for the radio to be fixed. I arrive at Hyundai in Umhlanga this morning, fighting my way through peak hour traffic and then the guy comes to me and says I see your vehicle is checked in for the radio, so I say yes, it's still under warranty and start to explain what is wrong with the radio when he tells me sorry the radio is only covered for 3 years and so is no longer covered? WHY COULDN'T THE PERSON TELL ME THAT WHEN I CALLED TO ENQUIRE ABOUT THE WARRANTY??? Why did I have to waste my time and petrol to drive there for NOTHING????? I asked if someone could just see if there's a lose wire and was told NO! They charge R680 an hour for labour so could cost me a small fortune to sort this out. I angrily drove away and will reconsider if I ever return there.
I had Sunday lunch at The Village Table in Umhlanga. The ambiance was relaxing with soft appropriate live music, a nice open flow to the restaurant and pretty view. Our waitress Tamara was wonderful, knowledgeable, polite and on the ball. Lastly the food was very tasty with decent acceptable portion sizes. Well done, will definitely revisit.
I called the Pick 'n Pay Hypermarket by the Sea on Monday 15th January 2018 to complain that over the weekend my soda stream gas cylinder had finished so I took out the spare new "fill" gas cylinder that I had gotten from the pick 'n pay hypermarket a few months ago, only to find that after opening it that it was EMPTY. Not only did I have guests over but now had no "soda water" to offer with drinks. I also did not have the slip as it was purchased a few months earlier. The gentleman I spoke to was nice enough and told me to bring the cylinder in and they would replace it. So today at lunch time I managed to drive all the way to the pick 'n pay hypermarket by the sea to get both gas cylinders filled as it's the weekend and I still don't have any soda water at home. I was told by Bryan the Manager to go to the Returns counter and they would replace it for me. I stand in the line and when I finally get to the counter the lady tells me sorry we out of stock... seriously? Why did no-one check before telling me to drive all the way there for NO REASON? I then asked BRYAN the Manager what he intends doing about it and he said nothing! I said can he call the pick 'n pay at the La Lucia Mall and arrange for me to go there for 2 cylinders and he said NO. That was the extent of his assistance. So no gas cylinder and wasted petrol to and from the hypermarket I went to the pick 'n pay at the La Lucia Mall and they had stock but since Bryan refused to contact them they couldn't assist with the replacement cylinder. Seriously is pick 'n pay so busy, do they have enough customers that they can afford such bad publicity and treatment of their customers? Obviously they can and do!
I went onto Woolworths website and ordered underwear that said was "in stock" and lucky for me that particular week was free delivery and it also so happened that the underwear I wanted was buy 2 and get a 3rd FREE. Bonus, I paid with my gift card and was done. I wait anxiously only to get an email telling me that my order will be delivered in 2 parts which wasn't much of an issue but then it said one of the pairs of underwear were "Out of Stock" and that I won't have to pay for it? I ALREADY PAID FOR IT WITH MY GIFT CARD THAT I NO LONGER HAVE! So I email Woolworths twice and after a couple days of no response I call them.... waiting for almost 30 minutes each time to speak to an agent! I then get told that I will get a new gift card with the amount of the item emailed to me. I was also told that Thabo would get back to me the following day regarding the 2 other pairs of underwear that I ordered but NOTHING! I received an email stating that they sourcing my item and will send as soon as they can. Since we now shutdown in a week and I go on vacation I needed to make sure it gets to me before Friday 15th December. Again I call only to be told that my order is now cancelled???? What happened to the 2 other pairs of underwear that I ordered???? Well after waiting for 45+ minutes I put the phone down not knowing what is going on. It's 1 thing to keep me in the dark about an order I have already paid for but another to just cancel my order and say sorry we'll give you your money back but wait.... the 3rd free pair I lose out on as they won't refund me for it????? This is just incompetence at it's best! What does a person have to do to get what she orders in a timeously manner? Where are my items? Where is my gift card with my refund????? ANSWERS PLEASE!!!!!
On Black Friday I spent 9 hours trying to purchase a mini hifi on the Hifi Corporation website only for it to crash 50+ times. After numerous calls and emails I finally managed to get to the screen where I entered my c/c details only to then have the system crash yet again. Upon getting the site back up again I went to see if my order had gone through which indeed it had and the system therefore wouldn't allow me to go into the order at all from this stage so having an order number I assumed I was now done. Of course I never wanted to try again and therefore pay twice either so after sending an email enquiring as to what to do I left it. On Monday I called them to enquire about my order only to be told it was Cancelled due to none payment... I have since spent hours on calls and emails only to be insulted that I don't know the difference between putting an item in the basket and actually checking out! This is totally unacceptable that they are taking no responsibility for this and basically I now just lose out after spending an entire day on the website trying to make this purchase. Disgusting customer service if you ask me and I hope everyone I tell will agree!
I paid for a 3 ton truck to be at my storage unit at 8am on the day I was moving house. The Owner / Manager of The Moving Co (Elton Wilson) never answered a single one of the 30+ calls to his cellphone or office on this day, as I waited for the moving truck to arrive. Eventually at 10am a "BAKKIE" broken down, beaten up old bakkie arrived, no protective blankets, NOTHING! Eventually I got my furniture to my new home, cupboard keys missing, the driver crashing into the driveway gate motor and turning up the driveway. This was unacceptable and disgusting that I was put through this stress. Moving is stressful enough. I hope NO-ONE EVER USES this company ever!
I fought the crowds at the relaunch of the revamped Pick 'n Pay Hypermarket by the Sea on Saturday 2nd December 2017 and because I spent more than R1000 I was given a R100 off voucher. I then went to the bottle store on the same day to be told "sorry we off line and you can't use your voucher". Fine so l left it and so when I went to the Puck 'n Pay at the Crescent to buy a few extras I again tried to use my voucher only to be told there's an error with the voucher and it won't load? SERIOUSLY!!!! What use is a voucher that is more hassle than it's worth? To add insult to injury it has an expiration date so will again need to fight the crowds and attempt again a 3rd time to use this R100 voucher. Pathetic really for such a HUGE retailer.
