I ordered on 27/01/2026, got confirmation that the item is being delivered on 28/01/2026. On 29/01/2026 I received a call informing me that the item is suddenly out of stock, the only option is a refund. I requested the refund to be done immediately as I paid immediately. on 31/01/2026 I sent an email requesting confirmation of my request as well as the call recording where the agent confirmed my request. 7 days later is the first time I received any communication back. Only now the refund is set in action and I'm being informed that it will take another 7 days. Clearly you are taking your clients for a ride and you do not give a single damn about us. UTTERLY DISGUSTING how you treat paying customers!
Ordered online, the service was great, received my products really quick with no hassle to get waybills etc.

It's been 142 hours since my fibre line was installed by vumatel. I keep hearing that the line will be activated after 24-48 hours. After numerous calls and emails nothing has still happened and my activation request was not sorted out. I have wasted hours of my time and money to try and get this sorted out to no avail. After telling numerous support staff that I will cancel my contract, I have received no proper support and every time I get told a different story. Clearly Vodacom has no interest to service clients as advertised and clearly does not care about their clients. I will be cancelling all my contracts with Vodacom, but I'm sure they will not care about that. This has been the worst service I've received and totally destroyed my trust in this so called company.
On 10 November 2018 I completed an online application on the Vodacom website. After 3 days of no feedback I applied again on 13 November 2018. On Thursday 15 November I received a call to confirm all the details and finalise the deal. I was told I could expect delivery of the contract on Monday 19 November 2018. Since 15 November after the call I received no more feedback and decided to call on 19 November 2018 to ensure that everything is on track as they state that only the contract holder may receive the package. They only noticed that there is no tracking number for the package when I called in. I was told that I could expect delivery of the package in 3-5 working days as they need to get a tracking number for the package. I asked the lady I was dealing with, when can I expect to get the tracking number, and she just repeated that I can expect delivery in 3-5 working days. This went on for a while and eventually I was told to expect the tracking number in 48hours. On 22 November 2018, 72 hours after my last conversation, I have received no tracking number or any further communication from Vodacom. I called again and was told that the issue was never excalated. I spoke to one of the team leaders named Tebogo who told me that he will call me before 17:00 to give me more information on the situation...he never called back. Almost another 24hours later, I called again and they could not give me any new info and I was informed that Tebogo is on another call and will call me back, this was after 15mins of holding from a non vodacom number. Doing online applications is supposed to make live easier, is it not? The service from Vodacom is definitely the worst I have ever received. I would appreciate if someone from Vodacom can contact me so that I can sort out my grievances. In the mean time I will not be able to reccommend Vodacom to anyone in the future as it feels like they are just there to waste your time and if this is how they treat new customers, I do not want to find out how existing customers are treated.
Owners start to swear at clients when they are critizised about their bad service. They are tremendously rude! They make arrangements and don't stick with it and wastes the clients' and epmloyees's time. The fact that they will scream and use degrading words towards clients is mindblowing and wil certainly cause that I will NEVER do work with them or the companies with whom they are associated.
