On Wednesday 24th April my car broke down with a starter motor issue. Nonjabulo Gwala took my call and quickly arranged for a tow from JJ Towing who took me to my mechanic. Great service all round thankyou. #DiscoveryDidGood
Discovery Insure is a roller-coaster. This is my 2nd poor review of Discovery Insure out of 3. On Thursday last week, my car's battery went flat. This happened again on Friday and Saturday. I confirmed at Tiger Wheel and Tyre that the battery was healthy. I called Discovery Insure on Friday to ask that someone come to check the tracker since this is often a tracker issue. But they said that I could only get an appointment in about 10days unless an auto-electrician confirmed it was the tracker at fault then it would be attended to in 48hrs!!!! I had an auto-electrician check it on Saturday and he confirmed that it was a tracker issue. I called the Discovery Call-Centre at 8h05 on Monday to book an appointment. The agent said that CTrack would contact me to finalize an appointment time. I emailed to request status at 10h00 but did get a proper reply. When CTrack had not called me by 13h30 I called the Call Centre again and the agent booked a call to CTrack (supposedly) and said that CTrack would call me. It is now almost 2hrs later and still no call from CTrack. Please escalate. I have now been without a functional car for 4 days since the healthy battery constantly runs flat due to an issue with the tracker.
My mother-in-law had been living in assisted living in a retirement village in Mogale City and it was becoming evident that she should move to frail care. This became an emergency when she had a bad fall and was hospitalized. Although the family had been investigating frail care centers Snowy Owl came to our attention while she was in hospital. Snowy Owl was more than willing to take our mom and granny in on discharge from hospital. They have been nursing her with the utmost compassion, dedication, and kindness and they have been keeping the family up to date with her progress on an ongoing basis. She has made an amazingly speedy recovery which I can only attribute to the attention of all the staff and owners of Snowy Owl. Thank you for your love for mom/granny, you are all amazing.

For about 10 years I have been happy with your service. HOWEVER, I AM NO LONGER HAPPY. My wife had a vehicle accident on 27th Nov and the result of the claim is still not determined 4 days later. I have not been contacted with status - I had to contact you twice. I need to be kept up to date with status and things need to happen faster. 4 days or more to process a claim without keeping the client up to date is unacceptable. I need to plan for December.

Words cannot express how much we enjoyed Kirsten and Thomas's wedding on the 28th March. The organization, facilities, atmosphere, dinner, and surroundings were exceptional. But perhaps what stood out for me most was the friendliness and efficiency of every Cradle Valley staff member. This is service of the highest order and talks to me of real quality leadership and teamwork. Further testament to a wonderful event and venue was the fact that our guests so obviously had a wonderful time and told us so! Thank you for your guidance through the normal stress of planning a wedding, thankfully Kirsten and Tom very capably took up the reins from our side towards the end. But the sound advice you gave us regarding postponed in early Jan very clearly ended with a great resolution on 28th March!!! The flowers and décor by Suikerbekkie were stupendous!! They really complimented my beautiful daughter, her handsome groom, and the wedding party and made for an elegant yet inviting setting. God Bless all of you in these uncertain times and my prayer for you is that the disruptions are as limited as possible so that more people can have the same wonderful experience we did.
