Third time that we place an order through UberEats and items missing. First time we got told to come and collect our chips. Did not give us fresh chips, was the packet left behind. Second time driver spilled our milkshake and just said sorry bad packing. Had to fight for them to deliver a new one. Latest was items missing from order and UberEats gave as a R1 credit. How ridiculous is that.
Ordered food for a birthday dinner. Did not receive all the items. Contacted them the same night via the app. Gave me a R1 credit. When I followed up they just kept on telling me s credit has been processed I must check my statements. When I later told them it still says only R1 credit given I was told I took to long to report it. Not returning messages anymore and did not give me a contact number to actually speak to someone. Taken it up with KFC and same thing, someone will follow up and contact me and still waiting. It is almost a month now
Booked and paid for Blyde Boat Cruise in October 2017. Never received any mails or calls afterwards to confirm times and dates. (Although other people got phone calls the day before) When we showed up on the 24th December the boat left without our group of 7 people and another group of 4. We just got told it is our loss, the boat waits for no one. We stayed at the jetty to see if you could get onto a next cruise. What a surprise to witness that the next trip was delayed for a group booking. Someone was even allowed to get off the boat and use the restrooms 10 minutes after departure time. We took pictures as proof. They clearly have double standards on who they are willing to wait for. Will rather support other companies in that area in future. They did mail me the evening (wonder how they then suddenly got a hold of my email again?) to say that we cancelled the booking. Clearly not, we stayed there until after 13:00 and then gave up. I emailed them twice with the photos attached, but never received any response.
