Bandile Hlatshwayo of the Durban call centre whose team leader is Onesimo who was conveniently in a meeting when I asked for an escalation. He was extremely rude and unwilling to assist me even though the payments were reflecting on their systems. Using a condescending and sarcastic tone he told me 7 working days is all he is going to tell me and all the team leaders are in a meeting therefore no supervisor/manager is available to take my call. My lines were reinstated when an unconfirmed payment escalation was logged and then suspended again. Someone fix this ASAP!!! This is totally unacceptable.
Good day I am writing this email to express my deep disappointment at the level of informal unprofessional service provided by L. Tywa today at the Pharmacy DIS-Chem Garden Route Mall. The gentleman that assisted me had neither the decorum or the understanding of dealing with a customer who is looking for solutions. He was callous in handling my query for a liquid form of pain alleviant for an adult remarking on how the person was too old for not wanting to take pills. He further went on to ask for my details and repeatedly asked for my last name and address even when answered. He displayed a total disregard for my time, delicacy of handling my apparent frustration on how he was so unaffected by his actions, remarking that he too was tired when I advised him that I did not have the willpower to go back and forth with him and that I was quickly becoming frustrated. I then asked him for the pharmacy manager to report this matter, he asked what I was going to do with the manager. This is not the service Dis-Chem provides to their consumers. He is not an ambassador of the brand. He was not even wearing an identifier, I saw his name on the script tag. I will be making a formal complaint with the SAPC as well.
My claim has been with Discovery for the past 3 months. I have been getting the run around since Friday regarding my payout despite telephonic confirmation from Nolo and Lefa that I would be receiving it 10 January 2025. The level of service I have received from Discovery is absolutely **********, without a regard for the frustration this has had on me. This is totally unacceptable from such a big company.
I ordered the snack basket and the calamari was off tasting with a bitter taste of it being chared at the end. The chef tried to explain that it was the spices they use and that calamari was supposed to taste that way. The look of the calamari was deeper brown than usual and looked burnt with black flakes. The table I was sitting at was near the kitchen and I could hear the kitchen staff ask why I was being difficult and that I was acting white. The establishment is a very nice one with friendly waitrons but the kitchen staff are a totally different story. Even the chef was rude and came out with an attitude.
