I have initiated a withdrawal on the 1st of March via website as well as on whatsapp. It stated it has gone through and is pending. Each day since I have been pending. Since Monday I have not received any form of communication with regards to any updates. I called in yesterday to find out how far my claim is as it states on the website "Pending" and estimated completion date is the 15th of March. The agent advised there is no claim on the system. WOW! I was then told to send screenshots of my whatsapp as well as what I am seeing on the website, and I will get a reference number withing 48 hours and then I will get a reference in 5 to 7 working days. So, for me to get just a reference number I have to wait till after the 15th. What sort of issue is this? I have to now wait on Discovery for just a reference number, noting that the process will drag even longer as you have to wait days on end just to get a response from there. I need this sorted out as a process cannot take so long and I cannot wait weeks on end. Tell me if there is a system glitch or if you guys do not want to pay me out. Thats it. I need this sorted ASAP!!!

You know with my last review these people, one would think that they'd do something right and get my details corrected. Well no, to date, they have my details incorrect. They sent me an email again to correct my ID NUMBER with SARS. it's Not Sars, it's you guys. If you want a piece of mind, stay away from discovery

I am absolutely disgusted by Discovery. I have made a divorce claim for the full cash component to be paid out, and split in half. I am also no longer with the employer who I was covered under. They are refusing to pay me out after misleading me and saying I should expect payment around this week. They're stating the funds must stay with them or be moved. I specifically chose full cash withdrawal on the form. They're now lying and saying no one told me I was going to get a cash pay out, after a consultatant said, you will receive a savings payout and then your retirement component. I indeed received two emails and sms on the two payments tax directives and emails stating the amounts would reflect in my account in 2 to 3 working days. I received the savings only. Dimakatso assisted and is the one who stated her supervisor can't find any calls about me being paid out, absolute lies. I hate Discovery so much, I no longer have any of their products but was forced to take retirement with them due to company policies. Fix this or I'm presenting the evidence and case in court.

I am so disgusted with Discovery Employee Benefits. My son is a Global Educator Protector beneficiary for his late father. The turnaround time for a claim on their website says it's 15 working days. I'm not telling you a word of a lie I had to wait two months before the claim could be resolved after sending numerous emails and calls to Discovery. It's actually sad how willing they are to take people's money while their still alive and promise to look after their loved ones when their still alive but once the person is gone you would have to see for themselves. Horrible people.

Not happy with them at all. this is the email i have sent them which they not taking my matter seriously. Dear Sir /Ma'am Thank you for your response i have been waiting and they don't respond from Sunday and yesterday as the last consultant said after i have sent the form to update my information they will send a withdrawal form i have sent them an email right now requesting information that they did say what information are they looking for. Right now I have been evicted from the place that i was renting as i did explain to the email that i don't have any source of income and to buy food for my kids and for them to go to school. Which i believe that I have a right to have the money.
