I've recently had the absolute pleasure in dealing with them (in late October 2020). Everyone that I spoke to was friendly and very helpful. I traded my vehicle for one of theirs. The car was delivered in the condition it was advertised (with brand new Pirelli tyres installed). And is a definite joy to drive. I did experience one problem but that was immediately resolved after informing the dealership. And the had a spare key made and couriered to me without batting an eye. All in all great service and still very happy with my purchase.
If you have time to waste with endless patience, then this is your oasis. They absolutely DO NOT CARE. I purchased an item on 14/06/2020. Its now 03/08/2020. I still do not have tracking information for my parcel. And they DO NOT follow-up with their customers with any sort of feedback (even just to say they are experiencing some sort of delay). They wait for their customers to contact them. Then they offer some generic response like they will be sending me an email once it has been dispatched (I'm still waiting for such a response). I was told (in a communication on 23/06/2020) that they are expecting the parcel in the second week of July, it's now August..... I will not make the mistake of buying from these buffoons again. And will endeavor to steer anyone clear...........
If you enjoy having your time wasted, then you've come to the right place. I called these people two days in advance and inquired about a part that I needed for my car. I spoke to two different guys and both of them assured me that although they don't have the part in stock. They can order it from a different branch. When I went their to make payment and for them to place the order. They suddenly could not help me because they don't have a good reputation with some of the other branches and ended up only calling one of them to make a n inquiry as to the availability of the part. All of this when I could've easily just gone to the other branch to get what I needed. Which I eventually did. As they have absolutely no problem wasting your time with their below average "customer service". I also have to add that the branch I ended up going to is in complete contrast to these buffoons.
On the 5th of May 2019 I went check out the new Avengers movie (so you can imagine my excitement). Everything went well right up to the point where I had to scan my tickets to enter the cinema. I was then told (for the first time after years going to any of their cinemas) that I would have to leave my doggy bag (from the restaurant I was had lunch at) by the entrance of the cinema on a table with various other parcels. There's no care for anything on that table and parcels are just randomly placed without any supervision. Hundreds of people pass your food which can be taken, or worse be tampered with at anytime. When I inquired about the rule, I was given no reason other than a very poor attitude. After an argument and threats from the gentleman I finally entered with my parcel in hand. This new nonsense was never revealed to me before I purchased the tickets. I do not appreciate the attitude or being treated like a child. There's always some misinformed person trying to enforce something.
I've taken gap cover with sanlam just over a year ago. Last month when I tried to log my first claim I've been given the run around. Now a month later I still don't have my money. Their level of communication is extremely poor. There's absolutely no follow up from their side. Every time I called they tell me that they've received all the necessary documents and that they will process the claim and pay. Now they've come up with some additional forms to complete (which I highly doubt will be the end). I'm tired of these people. If they don't value their clients how do they expect to stay in business. Now I'm seeking a new company that hopefully puts their clients first.
