Paid a 50% deposit without installation taking place. They continue to promise installation date and then on the day, after I follow up, they cancel and promise new date (more than 5 times, with 18 days post quoted installation date). Canceled installation and requested refund. Will provide feedback here when money is in my account. Until then I caution people placing order with such a large deposit.
Engine light have started to come on intermittently. Asked Carnetics2 to replace anything that is faulty that is causing the light to be on. They had done an in depth investigation on critical parts and given a detail explanation of what they looked at and found no parts to replace. Want to congratulate them not saying parts need to be replaced just to start making profit. They have done all the investigations without any charge while giving a lift to Gautrein station and back. Car was fine expect the light till the day I sold it.
Bosch services and Chocned partnership is flawed. Caused me to have a huge unexpected expense. Have bought my car through Chocned that insisted I should do the car inspection service at Bosch Services against my preference of BMW themselves (as they would now their own cars the best) After receiving the car it had a noise that I went to BMW to say what it may be. They indicated of less than 1min with the car that it is because there is play on the steering rack and a replacement would cost R27000+. I would not have bought the car at the price I did if Bosch have brought this under my attention. Discussed with Chocned and they have arranged another service with Bosch to inspect and indicated that they use Bosch specifically as they would take responsibility other than BMW service inspection would do. After Bosch also picked up the issue with second inspection they are not taking any responsibility.
