Hi, Cell C called me, and I upgraded my contact to a new one. I've been promised over the phone that my new debit order amount will be R699.00 on the 1st of March. My account was debited with two contact amounts, and they did not upgrade me, instead took a new contract without my knowledge and approval. I reported this wrongful action on the 13th of March and requested to act in faith and to correct the error that was made. No one I'd fixing the mistake, I've been billed in April again. A consultant in the so-called back office called me on Sunday the 16th of April, confirming my case is valid and that the finance department will be in touch to refund and to ensure that my account is updated correctly. When will this happen? I cannot afford another debit order overstating the promised amount again. Your help is highly appreciated. @CellC Kind Regards Chantal
Shane Holworthy, well done in your expert underwriting skills with my policy! You rock, and I am very pleased with being part of your company, you are simply the best. Well don
I've reported a claim dated 26 December 2017. Today I received the following feedback. Dear "name spelled incorreclty" We regret to inform you, but you dont work for the said company, and your partner is the MD of the company, and we need your IPad, and Cell Phone blacklisted. Your company needs to provide us a list of the items that was seen as gifts to reflect the purchases made. >> My claim was a laptop bag that was stolen in my house over the December period. I've reported a list of equipment inside of the bag, which all had tax invoices generated by the company that my company bought. I also had a tom tom sports watch in the bag, and send them the Makro slip where we bought this. I've send them the SAPS case number. How on earth does that reply to me, relates to my claim, I wonder. I work for the same company for the last 12 years, my partner is not a director, and I did not claim for a cell phone, and did not declare that my laptop, or laptop bag or mouse of mousepad, or or or, was gifts from my company. This insurance company, THE ADMIN HOUSE, is just making fools of themsevles, and they are insulting me personally, which is completely out of line. I am just very unsasified.
I am very upset with the way that my brokers is dealing with my first ever home content claim. I've reported my laptop bag that was stolen inside of my house. They've asked for proof of purchase, and I've send them the tax invoices from my company which reflected the purchases of the equipment. They replied today, two weeks later: We regret that "Chantal" does not work for the company, and that her partner is the director of the said company. We also require proof that the Ipad was blacklisted and the cell phone. I did not even had a cell phone on the list of stolen goods, and I do work for the company, 12 years still going, and my partner is not a director. I really don't understand why they would have such an irrelevant reply to a simple claim logged. Sad to say, but nowhere in the policy documentation does it states to have copies of slips for goods purchased. I now wonder if I should take photo's of my clothes, my TV's, beds, linen and anything that would be classified under the home contents. Insurance is just so impossible when you have to submit a claim. They would only then inform you of all the requirements and they keep quite as you happily pay to be insuranced, but not knowing that they make it impossible for you to claim. Even the smallest claim that I've logged recently. I dont have confidence or a trust relationship with the brokers anymore. I cannot believe that a company can be so pethetic, and unproffesional. I dont know why they had to make personal comments regarding my employment, or my partner, and add things on my list of stolen goods, that I've not added. Cannot wait to find a short term broker to replace this company.
