I would like to share my dissatisfaction with Standard bank insurance...I took out a funeral policy for a family member and he sadly passed on during the waiting period... I went to Standard bank vangate mall with the necessary information on 19June for my premium payback it's been more than a month and within this time I was debited again for this particular funeral cover, this application was made for the premium payback before my debit date and this wasn't even updated.... I then went to standard bank vangate mall and I was told I would be contacted in 3 days, upon receiving an email from standard bank insurance today15 July I was told that I would get a response in 5 days time...so I'm essence I am literally waiting nearly 2 months for premiums to be refunded while I will still be debited.... ...
I would like to share what I have experienced yesterday 29/01/25. I was invited to a dinner at Quarterdeck along with my Disabled mother 84 year old grandma & 11yr old daughter. Upon arriving at the underground parking, helping both mom & gran out my car when I parked in the disabled parking on the first floor, we get to the lift to get to the ground floor, there was only a sign on the door of the lift that says out of order... Not even a secruity in sight to direct us, no staff member nothing, to my dismay I had to let my family wait at the dead lift and look for help as it is a mission getting my disabled mother back in to the car load a 20kg wheel chair myself and then drive to seek where to go. I then saw someone (Mahabi or something close to that name ) a cleaning staff member and asked him how do we get out and he was so kind to assist us and explained where I needed to go to get to ground floor, he even wheeled my mom from the first floor to the ground floor down the steep ramp. If he was not there I still would have probably circled a couple of times to see where the ground floor was. This is utterly disapointing since it was my granma's first time coming to Grandwest.
I used the standard bank ATM today with not a standard bank card with another card. I then put the card in pin & amount the transaction said processing & then pushed the card out, after like 5 mins or so the ATM says service cancelled due to technical issues... My question is why can i not log anything with Standard bank when I called the contact centre I was told I needed to call the bank i used, but i used standard bank as they had the technical issue not the card i had used.... I am so annoyed because I was just brushed off by the consutant today when I called in. The ATM number is 0517 and this happened around 12:30 on 15/07/2024
I would like to express my dissapointment in their customer care service, if there were NO STARS they would not have received any... so I made a loan in April & saw my debit date was a few days before payday, so I called the contact centre was on the line for 25mins with the agent to change my debit date for when pay day I was ssured it was changed... then on 24/06/24 I am being emailed, called harrasted & debited leaving my account in a minus & even being chargerd excess interest.. 25/06/2024 I am debitited & on 26/06/24 I get a call from a collections customer agent saying my loan is in arrears.... Utterly dissapointed in them....
As a new client I find their App not user friendly. I tried to update the limit on my banking app & I could not even do that on my own it said I needed to verify my device.. Being new to the bank I was told by a consultant that I should verify my account on my labtop, I told her my laptop's in repairs & I am only using my cell phone to do all my trnasactions & work, I asked her if she can assist me & she told me to go into the branch & then said no I cant go into the brnch.. This is so frustrating & annoying because I use my cell with my other two diffrent banks I bank with & I can update transfer & do all my stuff effortlessly... & to think this is my business account with FNB.. Utterly dissapointment... "FNB how can we help you" YOU CANT!!!!!!!!!!!
If there was NO STARS I would have given them a ZERO STAR rating because of their BAD & DISCUSTING SERVICE!!!!!! MY FIBER IS OFFLINE SINCE 01/03/24 & IAM BEING TOLD THAT FROME THEIR SIDE IT SHOWS ON.... AFTER SPENDING 30MINS ON THE PHONE WIHT THEM ON MONDAY 04/03/24 THE CONSULTATANT ASKS ME TO SWOP CABLES!!!! & ASKED ME WHICH LIGHTS ARE ON THE GREY BOX.... I AM UP TO MY WITS END BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN OFF SINCE MARCH 01ST MY ACCOUNT IS UP TO DATE YET MY LINE IS DISCONNECTED- EACH TIME I CALL IM TOLD IT WAS ESCALTED - ESCALATED TO WHO??? TO WHAT??? I WAS ALSO TOLD THAT I WOULD GET A TECHNITIAN ON WEDS 06/03/2024 & TODAY'S THE 07TH/ 03/2024 7 WAS TOLD BY THE TECHNICAL DEPT THAT THEY WILL INVESTIGATE.... BUT THATS NOT ALL.. I RECEIVED NUMOUROS CALLS & EMAILS FROM CAELYNNE IN THEIR CLAIMS/ACCOUNTS DEPT SAYING IM IN ARREARS, YET MY ACCOUNT WAS PAID SETTLED IN JAN EARLY FEB & NOT YET ALLOCATED...THESE PEOPLE ARE A ****** JOKE... AFTER MY EMAIL TO HER EXPLAINING THAT I PAID & ARE UP TO DATE I AM IMMEDIATLY OFFLINE THE FOLLOWING DAY!!!!!!!!!!!
on the 18th March I wrote a review & was contacted by a very nice consultatnt who assisted me & explained what i needed to do, Yet to date.. on my credit report shows I am in arrears which I am not.. I hate this company HONESTLY I DO THEIR SERVICE SUCKS....
A month ago I wrote a reveiw about this company, they promised to deliver but never did.. I am highly disappointment at these people as it just seems that when they can get money out of you that is when you are good enough..... I have asked them to remove my name from the credit beauraus and they promised me it wil be done a month la ter I check my creidt report nothing....
I have made contact with the call center and spoke to a lady.. I asked that I want to cancel my policy because I am paying for something I have not used and she advised that she will be sending my documents through along with a revised policy.. I emailed their customer service and I have not received any response.. I want to cancel before the next debit date.. And I want them to remove the account from my credit profile...
