If you enjoy throwing money away, this is the store to use. Bought a pair of shoes about 1 year ago. Emailing their support results in: "we will update you as soon as we can". No follow up. No fulfillment. Simply, do not buy from drmartenssouthafrica.com
When dealing with a store for the first time one must be cautious. I was concerned by the fact that there were only 5-star reviews. (Yes, that can seem unrealistic!) And at the time of purchase they used those bogus countdown timers that simply restart the countdown when it hits zero (which I understand to be common practice on websites, to get you to act now rather than later) which I don't see now except via a bottom bar on the site. But I'll give them a pass on that because their prices are awesome, and delivery time was very quick. They definitely deserve the positive rating.

I've been ordering with them since they were Take2 and am really impressed with the level of service that just keeps improving! Ordered my Christmas gifts and just like that they're in my possession in the shortest time! Of course I've had issues in the past but they're greatly overshadowed by the positive.
It's worth noting when a company does well, and FNB is among the top in my list. After having an unauthorised charge go off my card from some unknown online service I contacted the FNB fraud department who cancelled my card and gave me instruction to dispute the charge. Swiftly after, a new card was issued and the money refunded. Then it happened a second time and FNB was quick to do the same! I have a new card in my hand and the charge was reversed. I contacted the service who wrongfully charged me and they seem to think it's legit, even though they shouldn't have my card details... site sharing details I suspect. But thanks a ton FNB! Such a pleasure to be with this bank.
Placed an order on the 4th of November 2017 for an LG TV bundle. Double checked the following week if all was in order and they confirmed Friday would be the delivery date as is their 5 day delivery period, but no delivery on Friday. Then I'm told Monday after that there's a delay. Well fast forward to 100 days later (that's the literal figure) and I'm still waiting for them to get back to me as to where the order is. They have taken no initiative to contact me at all and they don't reply to emails or answer their phone. I end up having to wait an hour for the online chat and still no real action gets done, just an empty promise of 'Adam will email you with an update'. Are you guys for real??
